🛑This place is horrible, understaffed and the staff that there are grossly nexperienced and incompetent. 📃This is not a SENIOR LIVING FACILITY, IT'S A NURSING HOME with unqualified staff with no county or state oversight. 🛑There's no on-site nurse, which is against the law, so if a resident needs critical and immediate medical attention 911 has to be called because there are absolutely no qualified medical professionals in the building. 🛑If you do decide to take your loved one there make sure to maintain the care, custody and control of their money, debit card and valuables, don't leave them at the nursing home. 🛑This building needs to be shut down, the ceiling caved in and residents were taken miles away without the NURSING HOME contacting their loved ones to inform them of what was going, basically they "ADULTNAPPED" the residents. 🛑Their unqualified staff are rude and nasty, the building is unkept, yet and still they pass inspection. The NC department of aging needs to have a permanent office at this location for oversight purposes. 🛑The executive director, doesn't direct anything in the building besides the destination of food from a plate to her mouth, she's grossly incompetent and neglectful to say the least, which is not a good quality when tending to the needs of the one of the city's most vulnerable, the elderly. 🛑Again I Implore you, if you haven't done so already find your loved one somewhere else to rest and relax other than this place, they deserve better!!!!

I am applaud by the experience I had with this facility. My brother was in this facility in memory care Dec1, 2025. This past Sunday he had an altercation with another patient . The patient went to the hospital right away. , almost 3 hours after the send my brother to the hospital to assess his. They didn’t had the courtesy to call me to inform me that they were not taking my brother back. They is a reason why it is call MEMORY CARE the patients should NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED.. He is in the hospital because he had no where to go. How can someone be so heartless to do something like that. Like I always do leave it in GOD hands. Very disappointed

Awesome community that truly prioritizes the residents above all else! You are greeted by the nicest and loveliest staff whose care for the older adults is reflected by the happy atmosphere of the community. If you are interested in this type of community, a tour is a great place to start!

I understand that places like this need to exist for those of us that do not have the means to give or afford to provide 24 hour care for our elderly loved ones. For the most part, Spring Harbor (formerly Wickshire, and others...) is nice facility. It is far better than some of the facilities I have seen and visited. However, when it comes to medical care, it seems to be a bit lacking. There is a "medical" person on staff, but apparently, all they do is hand out the patients' prescribed medication. In their words, they aren't even allowed or authorized to administer/apply Band-Aids. The wound care is FAR from wonderful. During a recent, and ongoing issue, my mother cut her leg. Yes, they called an ambulance and the hospital put in 15 stitches. Now the dressing needs changed ever day or two and they "don't have the means to do it". The follow up and ongoing medical care leaves A LOT to be desired. How can you have "wound care" and not have the ability or personnel to care for wounds. Not in as many words, we have been told that if ANY injury happens, no matter how minor, all they do is call 911.

My mother was a resident before her recent passing and received exceptional care. The entire staff is wonderful from the admin staff, the support staff and especially the direct care providers. My mother was always treated with kindness, respect and compassion and the staff was very attentive to her needs. Wickshire Crossings is a wonderful facility and I’m grateful my mother was a resident there for almost 4 years.
