I am the legal representative for a current resident and former representative for 2 others who reside/did reside (before death or move to nursing home skilled care) at Spring Arbor. I also have several personal friends who live and have lived there. While I am aware that individual experiences can differ, I cannot agree with certain reviews I have seen here. The broad experience I have had in differing circumstances at Spring Arbor has been professional, positive, and compassionate. As a professional guardian advocate with more than a decade of experience in practice coupled with medical background, I zeroed in on Spring Arbor Senior Living Williamsburg for a number of reasons: smaller size NOT owned by a large corporation Clean and smell-free facility Wide variety of activities Many services available on site Caring, well-trained care staff and fully engaged administration Adherence to regulation and practice standards Varied living space choices Decent menu options Flexibility of care options I choose this community based on my professional observations, as well as high recommendations from people I know who lived there or have/had family there. Every one of those residents was/is well cared for and attended to. I have not yet been left with unanswered questions. This kind of work is not for everyone, and I have seen many who are ill-suited to this work in other places. Not here.

Horrible place. Actually horrid. No compassion or care for the patients or their family members. My grandfather was placed in an Alzheimer’s unit, when he does not have Alzheimer’s and they won’t let me see him, there is also no phone to call him so I have no way to see/talk to my grandfather. The workers are so rude to your face and have the worst attitude/tone. The director never answers her phone, responds to voicemails, or sets meetings for my family and I to bring concerns about my grandfathers care. Even asked for the ombudsman phone number (the directors boss) to make a complaint and they refused.

The staff is ridiculously rude she hung up on me making fallacy statements based on an evident opinion The receptionist is rude and she claim she can’t hear after her sluggish phone etiquette . I’d the treat a stranger of no interest like that she will do worst to your loved one
