My sister currently lives at Spring Meadows and my mom did until her passing a year ago. The facility itself has been around for many years so could use some updates. I have reported issues to all of the administrative staff over the years and have had no problems. Yes there have been times that things were not taken care of and I had to report again. As in a lot of facilities of this nature, staff come and go. I do not hesitate to report any concerns that I have. I like the fact that since it is a smaller facility the caretakers know the residents and are very kind, respectful and helpful to them. When my mom was in hospice the care taking staff went above and beyond to see to her and my family's needs. I have eaten several meals there and they were good; but both my sister and mom complain(ed) about them sometimes. They can be bland and do not necessarily fit everyone’s dietary needs. However, if you want or need something the cook has always been willing to help. There are many activity opportunities during the week, generally monthly outings to a store and a restaurant and sometimes musical guests. Residents can suggest places they would like to go to or things they would like to do to the activity director. They are left on their own for weekend entertainment though. Overall, I think Spring Meadows is a good place to live and I frequently recommend it to people who ask.

Mom was there for only 4 months and during that time they failed to reorder her meds at least 4 times. The management did not seem to care at all after the 1st complaint and allowed it to happen again and again. Update, after torturing her they had the fault to use this dead woman for advertising their faculty. How low can you go??
