Spring Mill Health Campus

I have had productive and pleasant stay here. The stag was very kind and very friendly to me and patient. I am grateful for the support and encouragement of rehabilitation.

Fri 2/6/26 Evening - I really appreciate my physical therapists OZ and SHARON. They have repeatedly helped me to gain back my strength. I am grateful for their patience and encouragement. Mon 2/2/26 at 1:23pm - UPDATE: Tanette Lowe is an amazing person. She has done more for me than I can express. She is such an amazingly kind person and anticipates my needs even when I cannot express them. Tanette is a blessing and a divine gift. THANK YOU Tanette for your excellent service!! Mon 1/5/26 at 1:11pm update - CNA Mika H. was very kind and helpful to me when my oxygen became low while I was sitting in my chair waiting for physical therapy for several hours. Nurse Ebone F. also was very attentive and compassionate when I needed her even though she is very busy with all of her responsibilities as a nurse.

Director of Nursing, Michelle Ashford, is a Godsend and a guardian angel. She pays personal attention to her patients and provides excellent leadership to her staff who all say positive things about Michelle, as they trust and rely on her. My wife was admitted to the hospital for a heart procedure and Michelle has checked on her daily, even after hours and weekends. Any concerns or issues, Michelle has handled with discipline, grace, and ease. My family feels safe and cared for with Michelle in the leadership position at Spring Mill. We hope she never leaves, and we are deeply grateful to her. She has had a more profound impact than any other professional in leadership at Spring Mill. We cannot thank her enough, a s we are grateful to Spring Mill for hiring and retaining such an exceptional person.

The hardest decision in life is placing a loved one in a nursing home. You hear so many stories about mistreatment that it naturally makes you second guess your choice. After visiting our third option for a temporary placement, we were finally put at ease. The management team made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They gave us a thorough tour, explained the level of care our loved one would receive, and reassured us that the doors are always open and that we are welcome at any time. It was comforting to meet people who truly understand life’s challenges and are focused on compassionate care—not just filling a room. This management team is truly outstanding.

Today My church visited the Residents of Spring Mill Health Campus in Merrillville, Indiana. I must say that we were welcomed with open hearts by all the Support Staff & Residents. I thank God for Spring Mill Health Campus, I must say that this is one of, if not the Most Amazing Facility that I have ever been blessed to visit in Indiana! I was VERY IMPRESSED on how nice it looked, how clean it was and how comfortable it felt. I give Spring Mill Health Campus a 10 Star Rating.
