SPRING OAK OF TOMS RIVER (NJ65A113)

We moved my mother into Spring Oak in September when living on her own became too challenging. I toured over a dozen facilities in Monmouth and Ocean counties, narrowed it down to a few. Toured those facilities with Mom so she could decide where she felt most comfortable. Spring Oak stood out, with a good combination of staff (capable, friendly, helpful, and caring), competitive pricing, location, facilities and provided services. Jessica and Krystal were absolutely amazing in assisting with move-in. As with any move, transition was challenging. Jessica and Krystal continued to support. The nursing team was attentive in assisting with Mom’s medical needs. On site therapists, Tom Scerbo and team are making a huge difference in Mom’s physical and mental comfort. The staff is very friendly and her overall care seems to be top shelf. Her aids check in on her throughout the day helping out as needed. Its been over 2 months since the move and she is now very much settled in and content. Mom advises she likes the food very much. Although she prefers to not participate much, maybe eventually …..there are all kinds of daily activity options. Huge thanks to all of the staff at Spring Oak, they are fantastic.

My husband and I toured Spring Oak last September for my dad and were extremely impressed. At the time, he didn’t have the funds and his house had not yet sold, but Jessica Ott went above and beyond from the very beginning. Over the past year, she has stayed in constant contact—checking in, offering support, and seeing if there was anything she could do to help. Fast forward a year later: we discovered a retirement fund my father had completely forgotten about. The house still hasn’t sold, but as soon as I called Jessica, she had everything in motion and my father was moved in within a week. She is truly an absolute saint, and I am so deeply grateful for her dedication and kindness as we navigate this challenging time. My dad has now been at Spring Oak for over a week, and every time I speak to him, he sounds happy and engaged. He makes sure to participate in at least one activity each day. Coming from a skilled nursing facility, this has been a huge upgrade in his quality of life. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and genuinely personable with the residents. I especially want to recognize Leslie Quijano, Director of Wellness, who has been my go-to contact for any questions or concerns about my dad’s health. She always responds promptly, listens attentively, and makes sure everything is addressed. I truly feel comfortable knowing my dad is in a nurturing, safe, and caring environment. Spring Oak has been a blessing for our family, and I cannot recommend them enough.

I am so happy I chose Spring Oak ! I had limited time to look for a memory care facility for my Mother. I looked at quite a few but I knew as soon as I walked into Spring Oak and met Jessica that I had found the right place. My mom has only been here a short time but the staff taking care of her has been so kind and caring. I am so happy that my mom is comfortable and adjusting well. Jessica has been wonderful and patient with all my texting and questions.

Spring Oak Tom’s River Assisted Living is such a warm and cozy place! The atmosphere feels like home, and the staff go above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive environment!

Ask my 86 year old Aunt about moving to Spring Oak from her assisted living in Dallas, TX and she will swear her life has been saved. The Team at Spring Oak were the Angels to orchestrate this miracle - Jessica and Janet especially - including coordinating the application process, getting her setup in a beautiful respite apartment, feeling welcome in the community, special attention when needed, and into a perfect permanent resident room when all her things arrived. Spring Oak is a special place because of the amazing staff and nice residents, and I have been consistently impressed with the sense of community that's built around a unique quiet location, cohesive building design, and fun activities. I sincerely review with 5 stars not just because my Aunt is finally here now in NJ with our family, but because she truly has a new lease on Life!
