I cannot say enough about how amazing The Springs in Simpsonville is. My dad spent the last month of his life there on hospice care, and every single person — from Kari, Varesa Phyllis, Patricia, Carmen, Leigha, and so many others — was truly like an angel walking on earth. The level of care, compassion, and love they gave my dad went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. They didn’t just care for him, they cared for us as a family. No matter how many questions I asked or how many times I texted to check in, they never once made me feel like a burden or an inconvenience. Instead, they treated me with kindness, patience, and warmth, always making sure my dad was comfortable and at peace. The Springs made one of the hardest times of our lives a little lighter because of the way they wrapped us in support. I will forever be grateful for them and the beautiful way they cared for my dad in his final days.

WOW! The staff at this nursing home are incredible, including Isabella Cason . She brings so much joy to my mother and i couldn't be more grateful. Its because of her that i feel safe leaving my mother while im working all day!!!! Thank you again and a special thank you to Ms. Isabella

My mother lived at the Springs for 21months. I have hesitated to write a review because we interfaced with kind, caring people. The activities director is AMAZING. There were many staff members that went above and beyond to help my mother during the later stages of her dementia. My mother needed more care than the assisted living could give her but there was not room in the special care unit, so she declined rapidly without the attention she needed. We were too trusting, assuming she was being looked after more than she was. We discovered there was not much supervision in the dining hall. No one was keeping track of my mother's nutrition (or malnutrition). There was a lot of turn-over in the staff. Just when you begin to know the caretakers, they have moved along to another job within a few months. My mother's laundry was constantly getting lost even though we had her name in every piece of clothing. Her lovely rings, that we should have removed months earlier, went missing. If your loved one doesn't have many personal-help needs and just needs to live around others, this is an ideal place. If you think they are going to need more care (i.e. help getting to the bathroom, trouble using a walker for longer walks, forgetting where/who they are) this is not the ideal place for them.

My mother lived here from the very start of the pandemic in March through September. Because state regulators prohibited visitation the entire time, we had an Echo Show in her room (Alexa) that permitted us to check-in with my mother via video chat at will. It is testimony to their confidence in the caregivers that unlimited video interaction was not only permitted but encouraged. They would even turn it back on when my mother would accidentally turn it off. We were able to see that she was very well taken care of by very kind staff members. They do a great job of getting residents out of their rooms to the outdoors when possible and keep them engaged. We recommend The Springs at Simpsonville without reservation.

My mom lived at the Springs over 3 years. We never doubted she was being well cared for. The staff was always available for questions and input, her time there was filled with good, wholesome, stimulating activities, and I would add that there was never an abuse of using satellite television shows for entertainment and passing the time. The people in administrative positions took an active interest in her and her well-being along with the staff. Her individual needs and habits were paid attention to. Our family would highly recommend The Springs to anyone seeking a place for their loved one.
