St. Joseph's Village #2

Lillie and I think we’re lucky to be residents here. In our pastoral work over the years, each of us engaged with many CCRCs. We note that St. Joe’s Village offers all the usual services, with staff consistently responding well beyond required expectations. But we’ve also discovered here an unexpected and remarkably supportive community atmosphere - informal, laid back, relaxed, and at the same time alert and attentive to everyone’s needs. It feels here much like an extended family, which all its members may enjoy, each in their own way. Just one example is the active mixing of independent and assisted-living residents, which turns out to provide a more interesting and fulfilling experience for everyone. My parents were residents here (one assisted and one independent). They were reluctant to leave their home and move to a “facility,” but they were treated like family. The staff are wonderful and extremely friendly, from the dining staff to nursing/care team, to administration. Everyone knew their names and always had a smile. They made friends with other residents and the smaller sized community made everything convenient to get to know the staff and residents well. A huge shout out to Monica at the front desk and Bill the shuttle driver. The only negative was that assisted living residents must use their pharmacy for meds (ask for name), which was out of network for us, and therefore quite expensive. Overall, I highly recommend it. This is a place where the staff are happy and upbeat and truly seem to love their jobs. It makes visiting or living there a pleasure.

My Grandmother spent her last years as a resident here. The caregivers, all the staff, became family to her and all of us. The food is wonderful! These people can make an awesome omelette, a delicious Philly and the chocolate ice cream soul soothing. The facilities are clean and the remodeling is looking great. I am grateful and honored to have such compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, understanding and loving human beings caring for my Grandmother Vivian up to and after her passing from this earth. Thank you so very much.

Touring St. Joseph's Village with my wife for my mother-in-law's potential independent living was a reassuring experience. Jenna's extensive knowledge and passion for the building were evident throughout the tour. Remarkably, she knew every resident's name, fostering a sense of community and personalized care. This attention to detail left us with a positive impression, making St. Joseph's Village a strong contender for our consideration.

I had the pleasure of touring both Independent Living and Assisted Living with Jenna. The community is absolutely lovely and it's obvious the residents are very happy! I can't say enough great things about Jenna!! She gave great insight, went above and beyond in answering all of my questions and clearly is passionate about helping seniors find a home! She was such a delight to spend time with as was all staff I engaged with. I would highly recommend St. Joe's Village!
