A warning to those with loved ones at this senior living center! I recently ran across a disturbing comment made by a Facebook profile about the nurse shot in Minnesota. A profile identifying as Ross Gietzel and lists St Monica Senior Living as the employer made the attached comment. I hope if these facts are true they are investigated by St. Monica's. Can you imagine if he saw your loved one in need? Would he help or would he "mind his own business." Very concerning!

St. Monica’s Senior Living provided exceptional care for my mother-in-law over several years, from assisted living to memory care to her passing. During a very difficult season for our family, they offered not just professional care, but genuine compassion and a true sense of community. Stephany and her team went above and beyond at every stage - supporting our family through complex transitions, advocating for my mother-in-law, and ensuring she was always treated with dignity and kindness. Stephany’s leadership and heart made an enormous difference. Knowing our loved one was in such capable, caring hands brought us incredible peace. We are deeply grateful to the entire St. Monica’s team and highly recommend this community.

Mom has finally moved in! She is so happy and the process was the simplest thing I have had to do for her. If you are the child in charge of your parents(s) future, you know how much stress is involved! St Monica's made everything so very simple for us. From Application to getting help hanging a picture and everything in-between, the staff is top-shelf, start to finish! My Mother feels like she is at the Four Seasons! The property is very well managed, it's clean and happy! The land adjacent if beautifully taken care of and Mom even get to go, assisted, on nature walks! The food is great! She is looked after and cared for around the clock! She is still somewhat independent and her only complaint is that the monetary Bingo prizes are too small! :-) Many of my relatives have enjoyed St Monica's over the decades. You would be doing yourself and your loved-one a dis-service if you didn't at least check them out!

My mom has been in St Monica's Memory Care for 2 years now. I could not ask for a more friendly and compassionate staff watching over her. They have live music at least once a week, along with exercising, crafts and other activities. They have a beautiful garden in which the residents, if capable, can help with planting if they wish. I could go on and on. It is a great comfort for me knowing she is safe and well cared for.

My family has a long history with St. Monica’s. My mom was a much-loved activities director there before she retired, and my dad served on their board and helped at events. So when my dad became wheelchair bound and needed more care than my mom could manage on her own at home, St.Monica’s was an obvious choice. Both of them had years of positive relationships there. Fast forward 5 years and their retirement funds are quickly dwindling. St. Monica’s ain’t cheap! As soon as the administration at St. Monica’s learned my dad would be going on Title 19 to pay for his care there, they decided they could no longer care for him and bum-rushed him out the door. It was breathtakingly fast and thoroughly devastating for all of us, but most of all for my parents. My dad keeps asking why they won’t take him back, wondering what he did wrong. When they moved him, so many residents and staff came to say goodbye and promised to visit him. Come to find out that St. Monica’s has a reputation for kicking out residents before they can use Medicaid to pay their bills. And irony of all ironies, he’s paying 50% more than he was before, even though St. Monica’s assured us this would be a great time to transition him and make the change to Title 19. Truly, my parents are both heartbroken. What a slap in the face to two people who devoted so much time, energy, and love to this place. There’s not much I can do other than write this review. I hope it conveys at least some of the grief and anger we’re feeling.
