St Paul Hermitage

My mother was there till passing in January, we couldn't have been more pleased. It was the cleanest facility we have every been in. And the nurses and care givers were great we couldn't have been happier with there work. They took great care of mom.

Today I went to the check outline and it was card only , I only had cash at the moment. Nikki stepped in and was so polite she help me right away , her smile and manners were outstanding . She suspended the order and got me set up at a cash register she even got me to sign up to get a Lowe’s reward card lol .after she she explained the benefits of having it , points and the rewards I couldn’t deny having it . I usually tell the cashiers no and that’s the end of the transaction. 10/10 on customer service

Placement at Envive was based on it being a four star company. However, once here we question that high rating. Perhaps those who gave that rating were able to go to the restroom and dining room on their own. We are seeing food delivered to the rooms cold and lacking flavor. Patients physical needs being reduced to a schedule. Waiting may not be an issue for someone who isn't cognizant enough to recognize when they are sitting in wet or soiled undergarments. For those who depend on others to help with bedpans or undergarments it's humiliating and uncomfortable to wait 20, 40, 60 minutes or more to be helped or cleaned up. We would not have considered this location if we had known the problems they would have in care giving of our loved one. Response to Envive: We did reach out to the Social Worker at the Beech Grove location. She assured us that she would speak with the nurse and things would improve. They didn't. Evidently since Envive was sold last year procedures and care have changed.

Aunt has been a resident here for a little while and she has stated multiple times that she loves the staff and the other residents are very friendly. I can't recommend this place enough but you'll probably get put on a waiting list! The demand for a recidency is pretty high!
