My sister was in town, so we thought doing something spontaneous, which lead us to driving by this wonderful community. It’s amazing to see that every community has its own personality and style; and Park View Place was like top notch like luxury living! The building itself was so beautiful and the residents and staff all looked so very happy. We want to give a huge shoutout to Melodie for showing us around, and making us feel so welcome. Although we are still not ready to move to a community like this, we will most definitely pass on this great place.

I happened to drive by the area, and notice a beautiful building in the corner. I came in to see the building, with no appointment set, and was welcomed warmly by Melodie, who worked in the marketing office. Melodie had shared that she’s been working in the industry for more than 10 years, and you can tell that she has a passion for what she does. The staff were super friendly, with Ms. Della greeting me upon arrival, and offering me coffee and refreshments at their bistro. The staff overall, from the care team, housekeepers and culinary team; all smiled and greeted me as we walked around the community. Although I was just gathering information to see what a senior living community looked like for my grandparents in the future. I would highly suggest you check this community out and get a feel for it. They have a variety of floor plans to choose from, the apartments are a great size, and the community itself presents so clean and new. I, myself, would live here! Melodie provided me with so much knowledge and information, it’s great to see that people genuinely do care for the elderly population.

DISAPPOINTED!!! This facility is not equipped to properly care for individuals with dementia. My father, who has dementia/Alzheimer’s, lived at Park View Place for six months. Despite being fully transparent about his condition—especially his hygiene and bathing challenges—I was repeatedly assured staff could handle his care. After the first month, his hygiene declined significantly. He was often soiled, his room smelled strongly of urine, and he was removed from activities and confined to his room due to hygiene complaints. Staff admitted they were unable to get him to bathe or change consistently. He went weeks without proper hygiene, developed infections, and instead of improving his care, Park View called 911 and refused to allow him to return—without any advance notice. I was left scrambling to find another facility. Management even suggested a geriatric psychiatric placement, which hospital staff later said was unnecessary. The hospital social worker questioned Park View’s dementia-care methods and received no response. My father is now at another memory care facility with experienced staff. Within two months, his infections cleared, he bathes daily, and is treated with patience and dignity. It’s clear he didn’t need a psychiatric facility—he needed better dementia care. I would not recommend Park View Place for families seeking memory care for loved ones with dementia.

Park View Place is a beautiful place with staff that are understanding and caring. My mom has been living here for almost 1 year now and she feels safe and doing as well as she can be with her situation. Please pay a visit and see if the place is right for you. My thanks to Melodie for all her efforts.

This place is beautiful, but if you are looking for memory care, DO not place your loved ones here. They do not know how to care for persons living with dementia. We were sold on the marketing. However, they do not know how to handle the different manifestations of this disease. I counted on them as the experts, but I got calls regularly about every little change in behavior (which was very stressful as I’m not local). I lost confidence in their ability to care for my loved one. The worse thing is, they gave my loved one the wrong medication (!) than what was ordered by the NP because it “sounded the same”, which absolutely changed my loved one’s demeanor. They default to meds so they can maintain a calm pristine environment. Even the SNF where my loved one transferred from did not put her on meds to control her odd behaviors. We were out of there in 3 weeks.
