They actually care about their residents. It's not just a job, they consider them part of their family. It's really a wonderful feeling being able to leave and not have to worry about how your loved one is being treated after you have gone.

I called about a tour and I was told anytime would be fine, so I just dropped in one afternoon. Jenny was informative and let me take photos of the schedule and the areas where there weren't any residents. The standard rooms are very large with a kitchenette in every room including a small refrigerator/freezer and a small microwave. Plenty of room for at least a full-size bed, recliner, dresser, and a small table with chairs. The bathroom was large with a walkin shower. The whole place was cheerful and sunny, and I was able to speak with various staff. Maria met me after her weekly meeting with the residents and I heard residents joking and laughing. You can tell they truly enjoy living at Sodalis! Maria was so sweetvwhile explaining all the details and pricing and madevsure i had her cell so i could text or call her with any questions- which i did after i got home. Christina is the Activities Manager and she keeps everyone engaged and excited about upcoming events. The physical therapy department keep residents busy and moving with so many fun activities- just check out the Sodalis Facebook page! This is a great place for my mom and I hope she'll move here soon- she'll love it!

Maria and her entire staff are dedicated to making my grandpa and our family feel welcome and comfortable. They care for their residents with love and compassion. The facility is very clean, safe, and feels like a second home. I feel at peace knowing my grandpa is truly cared for. I can’t thank the staff enough for all that they do!

A huge thank you to Sodalis in DeFuniak Springs for welcoming the Wise Center Pre-K students for trick-or-treating! The residents and staff went above and beyond to make the children feel special — from the friendly smiles to the festive decorations and generous treats, everything was perfect. It was such a heartwarming experience to see the young children and the residents share laughter and joy together. The kindness and community spirit shown by Sodalis truly made this a memorable day for everyone involved. We appreciate all the love and effort that went into hosting this event — thank you for helping make Halloween so magical for our little ones! 🎃👻🧡

Each year this location provides a wonderful Halloween experience for our students. The director is gracious and inviting each year. The facility is clean and welcoming. The residents are kind and generous with compliments and candy. Our prek center loves this event. What a wonderful community event.
