STARFISH CARE HOMES, LLC

I have been to several of the starfish homes Indian Ridge. I was so impressed on how clean and in order the whole house is, it didn't matter the time or day I went . The residents are happy and content .Everyone makes you feel welcome and felt like home.The staff treats the residents with care and compassion. The owners are involved and the Manager is outstanding!! she is available if you have any concerns or questions she cares for the residents and her caregivers .She goes above and beyond to make sure all the residents are taken care for each and every day.

Do not take your loved ones to Starfish Care homes. After being told what a great place this would be to move my mother for her end of days, I was extremely dissatisfied. Upon arriving I was not greeted by anyone, the employees did not smile once and what I am assuming are the caregivers seemed so unhappy, also the person, that introduced herself as the manager was very rude and loud. She continuously was yelling at the employees and didn't seem to be a very pleasant person. When she noticed i was standing in the doorway she seemed to turn into a whole different person. The residents all sat in the tv room, not once did I see anyone even say a word to any of them. The house also had a strong odor of urine. Possibly showed up on a bad day, but I would be worried about my mother being there with any of the unhappy employees and manager I met that day. I have heard great things about Starfish from many people and was very disappointed to have such an unhappy experience.

Starfish Village provides exceptional care to its residence. All staff are personable and engaging. Family environment. You feel very at home at Starfish.
