STARLIGHT HOMES ASSISTED LIVING

My mother is the best mother ever she really took great care of my brother and I. Now that she is in her golden years we want a place for her that she can call her home, and given the fact she was born here she wanted to stay in San Antonio, until the end of her day. My brother and I are in the United States military and lived over seas. A friend recommended Starlight Homes, and after visiting other facilities, we decided that Starlight is the right choice. She is well taken care of by the nurturing staffs. They provide nutritious meals, activities of daily living, to keep her physical and mental health in tact. I recommend Starlight Homes to anyone who want a caring and loving environment for their mom and, or dad.

One on one care is what I love about this place, not to mention the sweet fragrance of the home, the home cook meals is excellent, it has been done by the sweet and loving staffs at Starlight.The professionalism out stands any other. I highly recommend Starlight for anyone that needs a home within a home with high quality care for their love one.

Being separated from my grandmother was one of the hardest things I had to go through. When my sisters told me granny would be moving to an assisted house, I could not help but wonder if she would be OK without us all and be OK living with people she didn't know. I had many questions and doubts about the facility until I visited granny. When I arrived at starlight, I was greeted with such warmth and kindness. There is a family atmosphere and we were treated as if they have known us all our lives. I immediately fell in love with this place!! I felt even happier when I saw how happy my grandmother was when I visited her the following weekend. She was chatting with fellow residents and appeared to have adusted quite nicely. She told me she loved it, that the people were awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Our mother has been at Starlight for 3 months now. We are very impressed with the staff and the care she is getting. They are very accomadating even to the point of working with us trying different options to keep our mom's little trouble maker dog there with her. Unfortunately it not workout. It was not for the lack of effort on everyone's part. The house is clean. Laundry gets done daily. Having the option of The House Doctors is a plus as well. Mom is happy there. She says the staff is nice. She loves the grilled cheese sandwiches. If you need a place for your mom, dad or both, Starlight is a great place.

I have been here many times over the last few years. The owner is very involved, the manager and most of the staff have been there for many years. The home cooking is always enjoyed the owner often makes the food herself this includes Jamaican food which is flavorful and fresh. I have no problem to recommend this home if your looking for a smaller place for mom and dad!
