I am a musician and I have been playing at retirement communities for over 15 years, I love playing and talking with the folks. I just started playing at Stonegate Village in Sandusky recently and I can’t say enough about the folks and the staff there!!! They are AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your community!!! It really means a lot to me!!!

Great facility! Wonderful Atmosphere, Delicious Food, Fun Events & Caring Staff! We Are Lucky To Have This Facility In Our Area!

This last winter my mom decided to move into Stonegate Village temporarily to get through the winter. The cold & snow can make it too difficult for Mom to drive to town, but she wanted to be back home in spring to work in her gardens. Stonegate accommodated this well! Mom moved in after Christmas with intent to move back home at Easter. It took a little bit of time to adjust to her new apartment living, but she truly felt comfortable with her new surroundings, staff, & schedule. The staff is absolutely wonderful! The staff was always attentive & always warm, friendly, helpful, & smiling! The room & all the facilities were very clean. The meals were great! There were many choices for every meal & great variety. Occasionally I'd join my mom at mealtime & it was always enjoyable. I just can't say enough positive things about the activities that Stonegate provides for the residents! There are numerous activities throughout the day every day. These activities became the lifeblood for my mom & she'd attend every one! Some residents don't do any, or very few, but to my mom, these activities made every day something special to look forward to! They offered: numerous exercise activities, crafts, baking, manicures, ice cream socials, Bible study, Bingo with Jim, Bunco, puzzles, Happy Hour & many, many more. They had field trips to the high school play, the ice rink for wheelchair ice skating. They had music events such as a homeschool musical group, the Mennonites Sunday concerts. There're always special monthly celebrations such as the Super Bowl, St Patrick's Day, Mother's Day tea, The Price is Right party. My mom is back home now, but she continues to get Stonegate's monthly activities calendar & she looks forward to attending favorite activities each week! And the staff welcomes her back each visit! I can't say enough good things about the Stonegate family! Mom's temporary stay was a very positive experience! Not only did Mom enjoy it, but it was so comforting to me & my siblings to know Mom was safe, comfortable, & being taken care of with such great kindness, warmth, & respect! It will be an easy decision to have Mom return this next winter. And when necessary, Stonegate will certainly be our choice for full time living. Thanks Stonegate family for a great experience!

I have been coming into this community for the past few weeks now. The staff are always upbeat, helpful, laughing, and smiling. Having a happy team shows that they have a fun environment for all of the residents. They community is always clean, and inviting. Today they hosted an afternoon concert for St. Patrick's day. The residents were gathered around and enjoying the festivities. This team does a phenomenal job creating special moments for their residents to enjoy!
