As a Social Worker at a skilled nursing facility, I have had the opportunity to coordinate several discharges to this assisted living community, and I can confidently say they provide excellent continuity of care. Their team is responsive, professional, and proactive throughout the transition process. I would especially like to recognize Aaron Barruzo, Marketing Director, and Linda for their outstanding support. They consistently go above and beyond by visiting their future residents while they are still recovering at the SNF, bringing flowers and small thoughtful items to brighten their day. These gestures truly make a difference for patients and families during the transition period. Communication is one of their strongest qualities. They are readily available to complete assessments promptly, collaborate on discharge planning, and maintain clear follow-up with both families and our facility. This level of coordination helps ensure a smooth and safe transition from SNF to assisted living. It is always reassuring to discharge a patient to a community that prioritizes safety, dignity, compassion, and strong collaboration. I highly recommend this assisted living facility to families and healthcare professionals seeking a dependable and supportive placement option.

He took the time to truly understand our situation and was patient in answering all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. One of the things that really stood out to us about Ivy Park Walnut Creek is the longevity of their staff. You can truly feel the consistency, experience, and genuine care from the team, which speaks volumes about the culture and leadership of the community. Aaron was honest, compassionate, and transparent throughout the entire process, which made a very stressful time feel much more manageable. He was always quick to follow up, provided clear information, and made sure we felt supported every step of the way. It’s clear that Aaron genuinely cares about the families he works with and takes pride in what he does. We highly recommend both Aaron and Ivy Park Walnut Creek to anyone looking for a community that truly cares.

Ivy Park is a beautiful community. It was an impressive tour and I really liked Linda the executive director. You can tell she is passionate about her community. Unfortunately, this community is out of our price range. It would be helpful if communities could be more transparent about pricing before coming in for a tour. As of November 2025, the fee for the most basic 306 sq ft studio was $5195/month, community fee is $7000, med fees vary but we were quoted $690-$920 (it's $23 per point), they didn't give me a quote for care fees, and the estimated price increase per year I believe was 7%-10%. If you can afford it, this would be an absolutely lovely community for a loved one.

Relieved to find this well-run community for our mom's care. Everyone is competent, responsive, and caring in every department. Quite a welcome change from our last experience where the building was beautiful but the care very substandard. It's all about the people who take care if your loved one.

I highly recommend Senior Sunrise of Walnut Creek.This is by far the BEST facility.The staff truly care about their residents and they provide the best care. They provide dignity and support to the patients, the staff is very experienced. I can not recommend a place more highly. AMAZING Place. Take a tour and meet the staff. They are fantastic! The facility is very nice and clean, and very well maintained. Perfect place for your loved one needing additional care.
