STROUDWATER LODGE

The family decision to move our Dad to an assisted living community was a very emotional and difficult one. After researching dozens of companies, learning more about the industry, and visiting many communities, we chose The Stroudwater Lodge. From the first visit, feeling like we walked into a ski mountain lodge, the experience has been extremely positive. The activity calendar is full and has something for everyone. The staff are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. They treat the family members as if we were residents. The food is a high point and we often just visit for lunch. The medical regiment is professional and thorough. Dad is improving at a pace beyond imagination and does not require a wheelchair for the first time in 11 months. Stroudwater is a vibrant, fun and welcoming community and has been the perfect fit for our Dad.

My grandmother feels at home and in great company at Stroudwater lodge. Special attention to the excellent service, nursing, care and resident engagement staff. A full schedule for residents all week long and great food for residents and visitors. The in residents concerts and holiday events are a treat!

Our parents have lived at Stroudwater Lodge since August 2024. Their apartment is lovely and the staff has been supportive and friendly. There is always something going on to liven up their day, Having a community to support the spouse who is caring for their loved one with advancing dementia has been a game changer in keeping our parents together as long as possible. We will always be thankful for the time that they spent at Stroudwater Lodge.

Stroudwater Lodge is a wonderful community. It is warm, welcoming, and well-run. The staff are always very kind, attentive, and clearly take great pride in what they do and they community they've built. Every time I’ve visited, the residents seem genuinely engaged and happy. The common spaces feel inviting and homey, and the entire environment strikes the perfect balance between independence and support. Stroudwater truly sets the standard for senior living in Maine!

Stroudwater Lodge is truly a loving and vibrant community. Our clients — and even friends with parents living there — have shared so many positive experiences. The staff are caring and attentive, the food is consistently amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. It’s wonderful to see such a welcoming environment where residents genuinely feel at home. I love checking in on our dearest clients who've moved in and hearing how happy they are with their move.
