Avoid this place at all cost! Moved my mom into TSWC in midst of new ownership. Nothing that was presented to us during our initial tour of the facility actually took place after mom moved in. Multiple staff changes, including nurses, aides, chefs, administrator, and beautician. My mom went to hospital and was there two weeks and no one from the facility contacted me, not even the resident doctor nor DON. The administration wreaks from the lack of professionalism! I regret not being more informed about the new owner and their mission to operate with the least amount of support, and I question if it is even legal.

Do not put your loved one in this facility!!! My mom moved in right as this place was sold to a new owner. Obviously the new owners came in to cut costs on everything, from food to the care. Many long time employees have quit (or fired). Food was horrible, chef quit. My mom got her hair done once because beautician quit, not enough aids for all the residents. There was lack of communication from the administration. One day when i was there, there was dried blood all over the handrail in hallway. The lady that sat at the front was the most helpful person there. Very disappointed

My parents live in the cottages which are very nice and well kept up. Walnut Creek has really a beautiful campus. We have no complaints with the quality of care and love that they can maintain their independence. I’ve had direct communication with the Director of Nursing on a few occasions and appreciate the prompt addressing of any concerns and follow up.

Run! Don't Walk...AWAY! If you care about a loved one, do some serious research. The real estate is fabulous, but the attention to landscaping is far better than the Patient Care. Management is beyond poor. Staff is lacking, especially on nights and weekends. I had no idea that Ohio Licensed Facilities could even be this poor.

Do your homework. I strongly dislike this facility. Very understaffed, especially at night. The food is not fit to eat (probably why family is not allowed to eat in the dining room.) The director is arrogant and condescending. Dee was an employee who did care about my parents and the family. When she left the place became a total nightmare. We found a great place for Dad after mom passed. Dad is now in the Family Tree and is much happier and still with us at 91. We are blessed.
