Wonderful caretakers and clean updated home.

Suji home cared for our mother for almost two years. She was a very difficult, bed ridden patient and needed a lot of care. They took care of her needs and she was very happy there. Staff did change over the years and the owner worked to find the right people to care for her. She was always cleaned and changed when we stopped in. Unlike the other nursing home she was before when I couldn’t find anyone to change her, and she sat wet for a long time. Suji Home cleared up her bed sores, and it was a huge improvement. Can’t thank them enough for the help and care. Especially combined with hospice.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. The place is pretty clean, the staff seem nice. Thats the FIRST impression. Spending time there gave me insight. My mom was there 2 months ago. Mom was stage 4 breast cancer, and could no longer live alone.When we unpacked, the drawers and closet were filled with someone elses clothing and belongings!!! She called me to tell me that she was hungry. She had just gotten there just a few hours earlier. It was around 10 pm. I asked her where the staff was, she said the lady is out there sleeping. My mom didn’t want to be a bother, so she stayed hungry that night. I went to sit with her two evenings later. She said that she wanted a bath. She was STILL in the same clothes from 2 days ago!!! She wasn’t as responsive as she had been when I took her there a few day’s previously. A nurse came to visit, and informed me that she was following up on a report that my mom had fallen. I WAS NEVER CALLED, HAD NO CLUE THIS HAPPENED ( mom never walked again after this incident)!!!! And decided to stay 24/7 with my mom until I could get her moved. The staff rarely checked to see if my mom needed anything. Although they seem nice, they are GROSSLY UNDER TRAINED, and SEVERELY OVER WORKED. The staff that was there was not sufficient for the number of residents. And she was there alone for over 24 hours….. ONLY 1 staff, 5 residents, of which 1 wouldn’t sit down, and fell 3 TIMES WITHIN A FEW HOURS!!! The staff was so busy with her, the other residents were NEGLECTED!!! The staff came into my moms room to give her morphine when it arrived from the pharmacy, she put it in my moms mouth with NO warning, or explanation. I told her to wait….. asked mom if she was in pain, she said no. A little while later I went to the kitchen to get a drink. The staff was asleep, with her BARE feet crossed on top of the kitchen table. The next day I arranged for mom to be moved!!! The staff WOULD NOT GIVE THE PARAMEDICS my mom’s medication!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!! Btw, My mom passed away 8 days later, in a facility that provided excellent care and compassion.

Not as attentive as they should be. They force feed our loved ones meds down her throat knowing that she has troubles swallowing, disregarded her hygiene for more then 2 days, had other paintents beings in our loved ones space,they didn't flip her as they should have ect....PLEASE find another place for your loved ones beside this home. After how our family was treated there I hope they get investigated. Just all around an unhealthy living situation.

I visited suji home three weeks ago had a chance to tour the house. It is a very clean home, immaculate. The owner definitely has resident best interest at heart. I will recommand this facility to anyone without hesitation.
