Camellia Place at Auburn Medical Park

This week was challenging for my Mom , Iris Whitney, whose Bed was too high for her. We decided to donate the bed and have a new one delivered on the same day donation was taking place. Of course things didn’t work out as planned. Nicole- the Wellness Director- came up with the perfect Solution. She solved our problem. She has always been very caring towards my mother’s needs. I truly appreciate her care and desire to always make sure everything is going well. I also want to Thank other Staff members at Moms facility: Rontaye in Maintenance ; Lydia - Aide who takes excellent care of my Mom;, Veronica, RN who does an exceptional job of caring for all of my Moms Medical Needs. Ashlee- Night Nurse is also excellent at her job. We recently had an emergency and she went above and beyond her duties to care for my Mothers needs/ concerns. Chloe- Aide, is another employee who I treasure. She is always caring and loving towards my Mom. Always asks me if there’s anything she can do for us to let her know. These employees ALL DESERVE CREDIT FOR THEIR CARE FOR EVERY RESIDENT AT THIS MEMORY CARE FACILITY. I am so grateful for each of them. Debra Cockerill- daughter of Iris Whitney.

What do I love most about Summer Village - Camelia? That’s a hard one because there are so many reasons I am happy my 92 year old Mom lives there. First, it is a calm and peaceful environment that is so important for memory care. It is clean and fresh smelling every time I go to visit. From the moment we walk in the door we have found the management and staff go out of their way to make this “home” for my Mom. The good things I see are consistent and I go by at different times and days - friendly, helpful, professional, engaging, and most of all - care that comes from the heart.
