SUMMERSET LINCOLN ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY CARE

Summerset Senior Living has been amazing for my father who is 91 years old, wheelchair bound and with light dementia. Due to his mobility issues we needed a place that could support a two person lift/transfer and Summerset is one of the few places we found that could support this in our price range. From the beginning, Summerset staff were professional, caring and supportive of both my father and the family. The tour and health assessment were very transparent so we understood what it meant to transition my father into assisted living & memory care. The staff were super supportive and helpful upon move-in and even accommodated his desired way of making his oatmeal in the morning. My father liked the independence at Summerset of being able to wheelchair himself around but also get support when needed. Summerset was very open to family visiting as often as desired or taking my father out for lunch, doctor appointments etc. My father enjoyed the activities at Summerset especially the musical performers that would visit quite often. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, bright and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about the staff from the front desk, caregivers, med-tech staff, kitchen staff and management. All take a very keen interest in the residents and provide a very loving, home-like environment. I would highly recommend Summerset Senior Living in Lincoln.

I cannot say enough sbout the wonderful experience I enjoyed on multiple occasions with Shannon Hargis, CEO at Summerset Senior Living and Adaptive Care in Lincoln, Ca. I first met Shannon in early November, 2022, when I was looking for a Dementia Care Center for my husband. I had spent most of the day visiting Dementia Care Facilities; went without lunch, and got lost. When I called Shannon to explain that I was lost and late for my appointment, she told me that she would meet me at a church close to my stop, and direct me to Summerset. Talk about 1st class treatment! Shannon not only took me around the facility, but she had the Chief Cook prepare me a meal that was on the Summerset Menu. Shannon always put the needs of her Summerset residents and their spouses & family as 1st priority. Any time I had an issue I went to Shannon, and she resolved it immediately. When my husband had to go to a skilled nursing facility for a few weeks, Shannon took it upon herself to visit my husband, and told him that the Summerset residents were anxiously waiting for his return. Shannon is remarkable and a huge asset to Summerset. She is a hard worker, gets things done, is very compassionate, and "one of a kind".

We moved Mom into Summerset in December of 2024. I was nervous about moving her as she had been in a facility in Roseville for 3 years, but I wanted her closer to me. Shannon was instrumental in making it a smooth transition. I had to change the date of the move and she was very accommodating as well as being helpful. She answers my calls or texts in a timely manner, making sure to communicate mom’s needs and how she is doing. I’m very happy with the move to Summerset. Summerset Lincoln Memory Care. I had searched for several months for a care home for my husband who was in the late stages of dementia. It is not an easy decision to make. I needed it to be close and convenient to our home, clean and affordable. Summerset Lincoln Memory Care was over and above what I could have wanted. From the first contact, the staff, administration and care givers, were compassionate and caring. I was always kept informed if they had any concerns for his welfare. From the weekly live music performers to the special programs they offer, it was nice to see everyone having fun and smiling. Our families experience at Summerset has been outstanding. The facility is kept very clean and pleasant at all times. The staff is exceptional! The care our father gets at Summerset is also outstanding! They treat dad with love and respect. The food is also very good.
