SUNRISE ADULT CARE HOME #3

I had to place a friend of mine into a home for his brain injury. Of course, he was scared and wasn't happy about the situation. After meeting the staff and owner and seeing how clean and welcoming it was, I felt good about leaving him there. He stayed there almost two years and it became his home. The staff was absolutely wonderful and always very patient. They always met me with a smile always willing to help. My friend was well taken care of always.

I am so fortunate to have found this group home. Besides checking off everything box on my “must have “ list plus more, the caregivers are exceptional. They truly care about my husband’s care and results. The house is kept clean and the meals are delicious. The main living area and kitchen are filled with natural light that is very soothing. I also want to spotlight the owner, Cosmina. She is very hands on and frequently on the premises. She is prompt to update me with any concerns about his condition or medications. She has gone beyond expectations and truly cares about the patients. For example yesterday my husband was discharged from the hospital with a script for antibiotics. He gets transported to the Group Home and immediately Cosmina lets me know about his need to have the antibiotics. Unfortunately I happen to be in the hospital and I have no one who can pick them up! Although Cosmina had a personal/ family commitment that interfered with her helping, she made a way and got to the pharmacy before closing. That is true compassion and caring. If you are looking for a group home that you can trust to not only “look” good when you visit but actually hold the same standard when you are not there then this is a place you certainly should consider when making the hard decision of who to entrust your loved one to.

Sunrise is a a rare gem in this world of assisted living facilities. While I cannot speak about the Sunrise Corporation as a whole, this particular location is outstanding! It is truly a live giving facility! Throughout the home you feel such warmth and positive energy. The staff’s training and experience is evident. It immediately put our families minds at ease. We knew our Mom’s safety and well-being has been placed in good hands. The owner, Cosmina along with her staff develop a genuine rapport with each resident as well as their families The home is so clean even Martha Stewart would applaud. They engage their residents with fun games and activities. Mom won two pens at Bingo. 😊 A big thank you to both Michelle’s for being exceptional CNA’s! We appreciate you both for your skills, hard work and your joyful spirits! My siblings along with myself are happy and grateful that our Mom and our family is now a part of this family! Sunrise Care Home and the incredible staff lead by Cosmina have been an huge support during the toughest season of my life. They provided care, comfort and above all safety to my mother who needed hospice care for a year after a stroke. They also helped me provide love and care for my disabled uncle who was also suffering as he coped with his sisters sudden and life threatening illness. The team there has been a rock and support foundation so that I can balance my self care and parenting my child and at the same time manage critical care for my mom and uncle. Since my mothers passing they have remained focused on keeping my uncle happy, healthy, safe and very well cared for. I am so blessed to have found Cosmina and this incredible resource to support my family.

I moved my Father in here from an Assisted Living facility nearby. It was approaching his end of life, his care was becoming a bit more complex, and I was concerned with the environment in which he would spend his last few months. Everyone from the owners to the caregivers, and all the other staff involved were absolutely amazing, providing a closer attention to detail than he was previously receiving and exceptional communication. I could not be more comfortable with the environment he was in at the time of passing. The only regret I have is that I did not move him in there sooner.
