My brother was given the most loving care at the Bradford. He wasn't there long, but the staff was kind and attentive, and when he went into hospice they went into overdrive and took great care of him. I am so grateful for all their professionalism and attention to my brother.

I cannot say enough good things about The Bradford but especially the caring and supportive caretakers . Jessie, Hope, Lashonda and Shaquille were so loving with my brother Michael who passed away last week in memory care. The kindness and warmth they showed my brother was amazing and certainly helped ease the family’s pain. These 4 caretakers continued to show love and compassion to the end.

A great all round care team works at The Bradford. Our mother has only been living here for almost 4 weeks. Moved back to MI from out of state. All along the process we've seen great efforts to welcome her (us) & attention to suit her many needs. A friendly, kind, experienced, understanding group I think keen on creating a home Mom can call her own & grow. I'm grateful we chose to be together here. I applaud each one who has helped her day in & day out with tender hearts at this senior center.

The greatest strength of this facility is the personality of the staff. From the control desk buzzing you into the facility, to the Executive Director and the caregivers and the food staff and the clinicians interacting with the residents, these are very compassionate and kind individuals with a great deal of warmth and a genuine calling for this type of work!! It is one of the most complicated and emotional decisions one can make, to place their aging loved one into an assisted living facility. However, when the decision ultimately is made you hope that you have chosen a facility where your loved one is respected, where the entire staff knows their name, where there is an earnest concern for their welfare and they are made to feel included from food service to their medication regimen and everything in between. This is what the residents of The Bradford, receive. I observe it virtually every day as I’m on the charming campus nearly every day. If you live in Oakland County the close proximity for you to visit is truly comforting. Aging individuals like what they like and they require a great deal of patience AND that’s what they will experience from top to bottom at The Bradford!! In my view The Bradford residents maintain independence and dignity, yet it is balanced with the comfort and security that comes from knowing experienced help is close at hand!! Quality is NEVER an accident. This is a very well run establishment that has been very accommodating to my brothers and I about every aspect of our father's comfort and care.

When placing a loved one in a facility, we need to understand that the level of care is not going to be what we can give our family member one-on-one in our own home. That being said, I am truly grateful for the care and support that my aunt receives at the Bradford. Yes, they have things that they still need to work on (since they took over earlier in 2024) however things that I brought up personally seem to have been addressed. What really impresses me about the Bradford is that every staff member knows every residence's name. I see the compassionate interactions between staff and residents. From the smiles, calling residents by name, to taking the time to stop and have conversations. All of this makes them feel cared for and loved. And that is one thing I've heard from many of the residents that I've gotten to know as I come and visit my aunt is, "The staff is so very nice". Thank you all for the encouragement that you have extended to my aunt as she adjusts to life in assisted living. Her life has been turned upside down since her onset of dementia and you all have been so great in extending her grace as she learns to live in this new season of life. I appreciate you!
