SUNRISE ASSISTED LIVING OF JACKSON (NJ15A112)

Considering the location of the area I'd say that it is very well priced and the accommodations here seem fantastic it is located in a beautiful area of New Jersey and absolutely guarantee your relatives will be very happy here as it looks like there's plenty of activities as well as the staff being very attentive

Attended the Mother’s Day event on Sunday, we were so impressed. The staff was exceptional, attentive and caring to all the residents. The event was well planned and executed smoothly. We would recommend the Jackson Sunrise for any that need exceptional care and security.

Relocating a loved one to Assistant Living can be difficult. Change for many is not always an open welcome. The decision to transition my parents to Assistant Living came as a need. Both 85+, mom not ambulatory, but mentally sharp! Dad, physically, is in better condition. Aids that were coming to the house were not always reliable and it became a revolving door with my parents' safety and trust of those in / out their home always a top priority. After visiting several facilities, Sunrise of Jackson was hands down an easy choice. From the time my parents arrived, they whisked dad away, checked vitals, fed him, he was hooked! Mom and I came later, as she required ambulatory service. Those I have encountered, leadership, staff, residents, have all been warm, friendly, and approachable. Creating a routine for mom with dignity, and compassion is intimately addressed by her Leadership Care Team. I am happy with the decision for my parents and sleep better knowing they are safe and well cared for!

From the moment we first walked into Sunrise of Jackson we felt the love and kindness. Although my mom did not live there for very long (6 months) the staff has left a lasting impression on my family. The level of commitment the staff has for their residents is outstanding. Everyone always went above and beyond to make sure my mom was well taken care of, had everything she needed, was happy, and respected. They did a great job keeping me updated on my mom especially during the pandemic when we were unable to visit as well as always letting the families of their residents know what they were doing to keep things as normal as possible and the new they things they were implementing during these crazy times. When my mom lived at Sunrise of Jackson I was able to sleep at night knowing that she was safe and being taken care of. My family will always be grateful to everyone at Sunrise of Jackson for everything they did and we are going to miss seeing everyone. You are all now part of our family.

It is with our sincerest apologies, that we didn't write this sooner. Dad spent 3 1/2 years at Sunrise of Jackson suffering from dementia, and passed in January 2018. We felt so comforted to know he was in such good care. Mom's health then took a sudden turn having had several strokes and required professional care. There was no question in our minds that we would contact Sunrise again. She unfortunately passed away within a week of residing at Sunrise in January 2019. We can't express enough how hard the team worked to comfort mom and ourselves through such a hard time...once again! The entire team is absolutely amazing! Mom's condition was quite severe when she arrived, and each day the staff was doing everything that they could to help. We want to thank Amy, Gabby, Dru-Claire, and Melissa (REM) for all their hard work before mom even arrived. That being said, our thanks goes out to everyone in REM for taking care of her and our family. There are many special people in this community that will remain in our hearts, and we truly hope they know who they are. Love, the St. Laurent family
