SUNRISE ASSISTED LIVING OF LEAWOOD

Sunrise in Leawood is one of the most amazing retirement communities in Kansas City. You walk in you get greeted by Nina and you see all these friendly faces. They have some great piano players that come by. Darin Is the executive director he handles everything smoothly.

My mother has been at Sunrise of Leawood for 6 months and has improved! She was at an independent living place before moving to Sunrise and was rarely engaged or encouraged to participate. What a breath of fresh air! Sunrise of Leawood was such a pleasant surprise for us. She has blossomed into an involved participant in almost all activities! She is happier as a result! The facility is clean with pleasant longtime staffers. The food is good and atmosphere inviting. Thank you Sunrise of Leawood!❤️

I come to sunrise three times a week to see my client Charlie, and they take great care of him! The staff is very friendly and kind! Big shout out to Miss Maria and Miss Anita who work on the third floor!

My husband was here for a year. At least at the time he was there, the proportion of men seemed much higher than at other facilities we looked at. It was nice for him to have guys around. It's clean and the staff are caring.

My grandpa has been at this facility for a little over 6 months. The care the staff provides is excellent. They truly and genuinely care for him. They treat him with respect and are so patient with him. They have taken him out for Veterans Day and had a family Thanksgiving dinner that was delicious. I highly recommend Sunrise as a place for your loved one to stay!
