Moving a loved one to Assisted Living can be a difficult decision, but from the moment our family toured Sunrise Marlboro with Gabby, we knew we had found the right place. The warmth and kindness of the staff, along with the welcoming atmosphere of the facility, made us feel completely at ease. Just a week later, my grandmother was settled into her beautiful suite, and it's been a truly wonderful experience ever since. In the nearly two months since she’s been there, we couldn’t be more thrilled with the exceptional care and attention she receives every single day. Ophelia & Emerson are amazing in managing her medications and work so closely with April, Carol, and our family to make sure that GG is always getting the best possible care. The entire care advisor team, including Yolanda, Jesula, Sam, and many other friendly faces (whose names I might not even know) are always available and so willing to help. It’s clear that they genuinely care about my grandmother’s well-being and are committed to helping her live her best life at Sunrise. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team for their dedication and compassion. Thank you for being an extension of our family and providing such thoughtful, loving care for our matriarch! We are truly thankful for all that you do.

I’m writing today to give a big and special shout-out to Matthew Devico at Sunrise of Marlboro. Matt is one of the activities personnel in the Reminiscence Unit where my mother is currently residing, and I can only say good things about Matt! He is patient, kind, energetic, artistic, and loving to all the residents. He communicates with the residents very clearly and warmly, and also listens to their needs and preferences. Matt has a wonderful, positive, and encouraging attitude. The arts and crafts projects that he does with the residents are very creative. When Matt plays songs and sing-alongs on the large screen TV, he dances around the room and gets everyone singing and moving! My mom truly adores Matt, which makes me very happy. Thank you, Matt!!

When it came time to have my dad get extra care we were won over by the sales person, Gabby, whose job doesn’t end there. She was always there to answer any questions. Meeting Tina the head of this facility was very helpful. She gave so much insight in what we could expect and helped me and my husband set in motion the elements we expected for his care. Michele the Head Nurse was simply the best with her understanding and patience ( especially with me hahaha). Audrey the dementia ward head was like a part of the family and always helping put my requests into motion. Now come to the care giver experts, the Aides, they were the gold of this place. The patience and care with love were the kind of care you’d want as well as need for your loved one. The time eventually came where we needed dad to be on hospice. We had a whole introduction with Dawn, Ed and Ryan step by step If you thought the care couldn’t get better well surprise, their care was exceptional and they worked alongside our Aides with such a great flow. Dad was cleaned and groomed and cared for like I wanted. He was fed a full meal with an Aide taking their time to make sure he ate. When it came time for more extensive care Hospice made him as comfortable as could be. This facility kept me posted at all times they became an extended family. Even from walking in the front door with Maria welcoming you. I’m sure I’m missing so much but the gist of my experience was amazing I highly would recommend this facility to all.

Moving my mother-in-law into Sunrise at Marlboro has been a wonderful experience for everyone in our family. Gabby and the entire staff are so warm and welcoming, and have made this transition so much easier and smoother than we could have imagined. She feels comfortable, and we know that she is being very well taken care of in her new home. We could not recommend Sunrise at Marlboro more.

First impression of Sunrise of Marlboro was welcoming and the greeters and staff continue to make us, as the family, feel welcomed at any time. Gabrielle Dolgin (Gabby) was extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the admittance procedure & level of care. We felt confident that when the time came we would choose Sunrise of Marlboro. We turned to Gabby a month later to guide us with the move from rehab to Sunrise of Marlboro. She made an overwhelming and emotional situation less stressful. Gabby was to put it simply, amazing. Sunrise of Marlboro staff, Barbara, Michele, and memory care floor staff are always available by cell or to stop in their office. They know the residents and it shows. Updates are given on my mother's adjustment, her daily involvement in the community. The memory care floor staff is friendly, kind & patient taking time to talk with the residents and help them with their adjustment. Vinny & Mary DiCostanzi
