Making the decision to move my husband to a memory care unit was one of the hardest decisions our family has had to face. The Sunrise staff helped us make a difficult transition with ease. Sunrise offers my husband a home away from home, with a professional caring and compassionate staff, a clean environment, activities for stimulation and the meals are actually quite good. I have peace of mind and can leave our visits knowing he is well taken care of.

Choosing full time care for a parent who has dementia is a tough decision but I am so happy that I chose Sunrise of Wayne for my precious mother. I researched which Memory Care facilities were the best in Passaic and Morris County and Sunrise of Wayne was on that list. I visited many but knew Sunrise was the place for my mom from the feeling of care and compassion from the Staff and from the feeling of “home” that I saw when I visited for the first time and still feel every time I visit my mom. The residents eat together and hang out in the lounge together - playing games, listening to music, watching tv and sitting at the activities table. All of the staff are very loving, caring and respectful to my mother. I never, ever worry that all of her needs are being attended to each and every day of the week.

My father has been a resident in Sunrise's memory care location for 15 months now. The level of care is great, and the warmth and kindness from the staff has been most comforting. It is so difficult to see a loved one struggle with dementia, but is is reassuring to know that he is cared for with dignity, respect and warmth. I am truly thankful for the Sunrise team.

My sister and I recently visited Sunrise of Wayne to explore short-term stay options for a family member. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was genuinely gracious and welcoming. Our meeting was with Meredith, who was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was incredibly generous with her time, patiently answering all of our questions and even pointing out important considerations we hadn't thought of ourselves. Her expertise and thoughtful approach made us feel confident that residents at Sunrise receive truly personalized attention. The facility itself is undergoing several major updates, which shows their commitment to maintaining a high-quality living environment. Even with renovations in progress, the community maintained its warm, professional atmosphere. What stood out most was how we were treated as valued guests, not just potential customers. The staff's genuine care and professionalism left a lasting impression. While our family's needs changed and we didn't require their services at this time, we would absolutely consider Sunrise of Wayne in the future based on this experience.
