SUNRISE OF CUYAHOGA FALLS

My mom, Toni, stayed in the memory care section for the last two months of her life. She passed a year ago now and I still remember how the staff made hers and myself and my dad’s experience as happy as it could be. The staff, everyone from the nurses, STNAs, med techs, receptionists were so kind and helpful and would always put up with my phone calls and visits checking on my mom. I wanted to give a particular shout out to Emily, who worked second shift as a STNA. She was my mom’s favorite and I still think about how kind she is and how happy she made my mom in the late stages of her early onset dementia!

I cannot say enough good things about Sunrise. I was so lucky to have been referred to them for my mom.

When I visit my resident family member, I always feel like I am entering her "home" as she feels comfortable navigating her surroundings and participating in their family oriented group activities. It is also nice to know she finds comfort in visiting with her friends who also reside at Sunrise. Thank you to all Sunrise staff for making her feel "at home."

Had our recent holiday party invited my grandparents over for the meal, tgey had a wonderful experiance loved the food and how the building looked and was decorated for the holidays had lots of good compliments and positive feed back.

Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls is the only place that I would consider placing a loved one in. The are attentive, caring, and the to the employees it is more than a job. They truly care about the residents. We had all 4 parents there over the last 5 1/2 years. Most of the employees cared for all 4 parents, which says a lot about employee loyalty. When you walk in, it feels like home. The residents wave and smile and numerous employees ask how you are doing and if they can get you anything. All of the 4 parents needs were taken care of in a timely manner. An example is that I noticed my Mom was more confused than normal during a visit. I called Sunrise to ask them if we should check for a UTI. They said yes we noticed the change and tested her yesterday. They noticed her confusion change before I did. Our parents and their rooms were always clean and well kept. I can't say enough about the people at Sunrise. They truly were life savers for my husband and I. Don't hesitate to have your loved ones live there!
