Sunrise of McLean

I can say with certainty that my loved one received the best possible care during her time at Sunrise of McLean (Nov 2024 – Jan 2026). My experience was stellar across the board. The team provided a high level of care through various phases, which made "aging in place" a reality for us - something that was incredibly important. Communication was excellent, both digitally and in person, and the facilities are beautiful. Having access to different environments - from the outdoor seating and activities to the cozy indoor areas - made a big difference in her quality of life. The staff is truly the best of the best; I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate team. A special thank you to Julie, Juliette, and everyone on the team for the work you do. The benefits here seemed endless. The location made logistics easy when we needed access to hospitals and/or skilled nursing facilities, and the proximity allowed us to spend as much quality time with her as possible. I highly recommend Sunrise of McLean to any family seeking peace of mind and top-tier care.

I think the executive director Julie Clouse did an excellent job. I used to come to Sunrise of McLean to do sing along at memory care 3 years ago. I felt something was off. Now, I can see the difference. This location has become alive. Happy staff, contented residents. Up lifting vibes. Good job Julia. I’ll give you two thumbs up. You are indispensable. Sunrise of McLean has become a great solution for my mother to transition to her golden years. We discovered back in October of last year that my mother was not remembering things like she had in the past and started to see clear signs that she could no longer take care of herself. We decided to look at places that would suit her and her condition. We felt that with the professional guidance of Sunrise of McLean team that this was the right choice for her. They worked with us to make sure it was affordable for our financial situation. We feel extremely confident with the guidance of the Sunrise team of McLean that my 85 year old mother will be well taken care and have lots of fun in the process. We feel confident that she is in the right place for her, esp if her condition worsens and needs memory care. Sunrise of McLean feels warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Executive Director Julie has created an atmosphere where residents appear to feel at home and guests are welcomed. The staff are friendly, engaging, and attentive—regularly greeting residents, holding conversations, and checking on them throughout the day. Im unsure of Sarah’s position within the community but in observation she looks to truly adore the residents. This place is a wonderful community filled with genuine care from a genuine staff.

My associate and I visited Sunrise of McLean this past Saturday and had a delightful time at their holiday brunch. The food was delicious and the employees were warm and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed our tour by Matthew Veleber. I highly recommend this community.
