I came across Sunrise of Summit after the sudden death of my father, when I found myself searching for the very best senior living community for my mother—without cutting corners. Over two months, I conducted countless hours of research daily, visiting 11 communities in person and nearly a dozen more online. Like most people, I care deeply for my mother and wanted to find a place where she could truly thrive again and her specific needs are best met. From the moment I sat down with the terrific Marla at our first meeting, I felt I had found an exceptional community where my mother could feel at home. Over time, I met other wonderful staff as well —Kathy, DeeDee, Nana, Fernando, Jill and countless others who care so much for the residents. The staff is amazing. The food, which I've enjoyed myself multiple times, is delicious (my mother reminds me of this regularly). The building is stunning, and the outdoor patio is a particular highlight. The other residents are active and vibrant. But what matters most is that every single staff member I've met is genuinely engaged in caring for my mother and her needs. You feel it at every turn. It's a place that feels like both home and family, combined with the medical care and living arrangements my mother requires. I can't say enough good things about Sunrise of Summit. My mother has been there a few months now, and I think if my father were alive today, he'd be thrilled to see the wonderful place she lives in and the community she's become part of. Thank you to the entire Sunrise of Summit team for all that you do—it truly is amazing.

As a healthcare marketing professional, I’ve toured many senior living communities—but Amanda, the Director of Sales at Sunrise of Madison, stands out as a true gem. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and deep understanding of both the industry and the emotional nuances families face make her an invaluable asset to the Sunrise team. If you’re exploring senior living options, Amanda is the kind of partner you want by your side. Sunrise of Madison is lucky to have her.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Place That Feels Like Family My 94-year-old mother is the best mom in the world. She’s been my best friend for a lifetime, and watching her begin to struggle mentally the last few years was heartbreaking. After a difficult transition from assisted living in Massachusetts, I moved her to Sunrise of Summit Memory Care, and it was the best decision I could have made. It wasn’t easy at first—change is hard at that age—but the love, care, and attention she has received here made all the difference. The staff welcomed her with open arms and treated her with dignity, respect, and joy. Today, my mom is thriving. She loves the place, she’s safe, she’s clean and comfortable, and most of all—she’s happy. And because of that, I can finally breathe again. No more sleepless nights worrying. My heart is at ease knowing she’s surrounded by people who genuinely care. I want to give a special shoutout to Nikki, who leads the memory care team with such compassion and strength. And deep thanks to Farrah, Venessia and Maja who go above and beyond every day—they’re kind, supportive, loving, and always bring a smile to my mom’s face (and mine). Really I want to thank the entire staff because they are all so wonderful. The environment is beautiful, peaceful, and full of warmth. If you’re searching for a place that feels like home—and a team that treats your loved one like family—Sunrise of Summit Memory Care is that place. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving my mother the care she deserves.

My Father started in Assisted Living and transitioned into Memory Care. I saw both management, dining staff, activity planners, nurses, health aids, and care managers going above and beyond for all residents. There’s a real feeling of family amongst the group. It is hard because some situations are challenging. But they always handle it professionally and with compassion. It was a great move to bring Dad to the level of care he needs.

Too often amazing people help others and get little recognition. My father just turned 101 on 12/12 and I needed to move fast and get him help. Allison Riccardelli is the BEST!!! She made everything happen with a super quick evaluation and made all the arrangements for us that we needed. She's always available when we call and has made our challenging experience so much better. If you have a parent or loved one that needs care that you cannot provide at home, you do not have to waste your time and energy doing research. Call Allison and she will put everything together for you! 100%
