Sunrise On Connecticut Avenue

The level of care and support that my spouse receives in the Memory Care unit is wonderful. I know that the workers there are always looking to make my loved one's life as comfortable and as safe as can be. They are truly Angels!

After two years with sunrise, I am still amazed by the quality of care that my mother receives here. Sunrise establishes a personal relationship with all of the residents here and provide top-notch care with a personal touch. And they are quite attentive to all of the personal needs of their residence. They provide a home like atmosphere for all of residents and their families as well. Our mom has been at Sunrise on Connecticut since April 2023. She has acute dementia so is on the 3rd floor (memory care unit). The director of that unit, Ruth, and the staff are FANTASTIC. Kind, loving, joyful. They create an environment of warmth and safety for the residents of that unit. I live close and randomly pop by to visit. I am thankful we found Sunrise on Connecticut and that we are able to afford it.

My family is very lucky that we found Sunrise on Connecticut for our parents. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Their attentiveness, humor, and patience with the residents creates a warm and secure environment. The staff members have an incredible ability to really connect with residents from all backgrounds. Their experience with residents living with cognitive and physical challenges is broad and deep enabling them to respond nimbly to developments that are, inevitably, ever-changing. We are so thankful to everyone at Sunrise.

I can't tell you how incredibly happy we have been to have my father at Sunrise. All of the staff are super attentive, warm, engaging and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable and well cared for. I didn't know what to expect before arriving, but have been so pleased with the complete care Sunrise provides. The staff are respectful and accommodating. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone who wants to find a friendly, compassionate place for their loved one. Visiting is easy and they even allow pets!
