Sunrise on Vernier

My dad was welcomed into the Sunrise family on day one of his arrival . Sunrise felt like home and became my dad's home . My dad had a little over 2 yrs in apt 207 . My only wish is that he could have enjoyed it longer .

Fabulous community with a caring staff and appealing and well-maintained common areas and apartments! I am really impressed by the thoughtful details behind their assisted living apartments for seniors. Careful consideration is taken to make sure that safely and security is a top priority. I highly recommend a tour to experience for yourself the friendly and professional staff and superior accommodations!

Working with Mary Jo at Sunrise on Vernier has been a great experience. She truly knows her stuff—experienced, compassionate, and always focused on making sure seniors find the right community. I’ve done multiple tours with families, and Mary Jo goes out of her way to ensure everyone feels safe, informed, and welcomed. She genuinely cares, and it shows in everything she does.

My husband was treated like he was a problem instead of a sick person deserving of patience and kindness. When I voiced my concerns about residents left to wander in and out of each other’s rooms I was told that it is not one on one supervision and that’s just how it is. I was constantly given excuses not suggestions for improvement. I regret placing my husband here and he is doing much better in another facility.

I have to say from the moment we toured this facility, the staff, the decor, the residents, and the house cat, we were able to tell that this was going to be a positive experience. Even though our LOVED one passed away quickly, between the staff and the management we were shown so much LOVE. THE LONGEVITY of the staff has a WHOLE lot to speak for itself. The cleansiness and the food was outstanding! All I can say, this place was INCREDIBLE and forever changed our mind when it came to the difficult decision to even find a place for her. Our mom was treated like she was a QUEEN and right at home! We were blessed by this facility with their love and care. Thank you again to each and every staff member that touched our mom's heart.
