SUNSET LAKE VILLAGE

My mother has been in this facility for a while now, and has told me that a particular person, Samantha, has been simply amazing. The care and compassion that Samantha has shown my mom has been unparalleled. She has gone shopping for my mother, even purchasing a present for me, on her behalf. So, Samantha, thank you for caring for my mother.

I first came to Sunset Lake about a year and a half ago. After a few months of physical and occupational therapy, I was ready to be discharged but felt comfortable enough here to pay for an additional month while I looked for a new place to live. When I recently found I had to return to a rehab facility, I chose Sunset Lake because I was familiar with it and the therapists.

I can say 95% of staff encourage me to get up out of bed. This facility is great because if you are a smoker, there is a designated smoking area and times. Housekeeping doesthere best to make sure that the rooms are cleaned. There are plenty of activities to do, such as bingo. During construction period they host music activities outside. Pretty good choice of what to eat, there are other options. Able to talk with other residents and their families. Feel like I have a big family. Love when the therapy dogs come to see me.

I gotta tell ya, I,ve been in 6 rehab/nursing homes. I,ve been at sunset lake for over 2 months,food is good staff are sweet and considerate . I feel comfortable and safe here. I plan on volunteering to play guitar and harmonica and sing for all my neighbors here.regularly. thank the Lord I,ve finally found a home .tommy schoen (a.k.a. ) rockin tommy .

The facility is located in a convient spot. Food is good. Staff consisting of Nurses, CNAs are attentive. Therapy are very helpful. Able to roam inside the facility, with permission from therapy. Has a beautiful courtyard to sit and soak up the sun and watch the squirrels. The staff goes out of their way to assist myself and all residents.
