SUPERIOR RESIDENCES OF LECANTO

I'm very happy with Superior they take good care of my husband. The staff are very caring and so helpful. The place is always very clean and the food is pretty decent I would recommend them to anybody that is looking for help or care with the loved ones

The staff at Superior Residences of Niceville is a special group of people that have a passion for helping others. In memory care, the staff made my father feel like he had a big loving family around 24/7. The food was great and the facility also smelled fresh always. Special shout out to Carrie, Angela, Sam and Lisa… I am coming your way when it’s time.

UPDATE: Thanks for responding finally, unfortunately I have spoke to the executive director, Shannon. Its baffling that the "director" who is supposed to run this place, denies any knowledge of things and is trying to cover it up. He only reached out to try to resolve things after a notice of appearance from an attorney was received. The magnitude of what is going on at this facility is disgusting and each person involved will be held accountable. The more that comes to light deeply saddens me. These are some of the most vulnerable people and to be treated this way is is despicable. My dear friend almost lost her hand and her life last week from an infection after being neglected here. When I went to pick up her belongings, not one staff member asked me how she was doing. Instead, the business manager reminded me to make sure that I still send in her payment for the next month. 😔 When my friend first arrived here, we were assured that they had in house doctors who accepted her insurance and that they are all inclusive. That was not the case. Weeks went by before I was notified she was out of her meds. When they found metastasized nodules in her lungs and referred her to a pulmonologist, I was told they would schedule the appointment and everything would be taken care of. Two months went by without hearing anything, only to call and find out that they dont have any provider's who accept that insurance in that county and I would have to take her myself. That is completely fine, but how am I supposed to know these things if they don't communicate that? I've received calls from their own staff who are concerned about her not being taken care of properly. Life is hard enough dealing with Alzheimer's, for the caregivers and loved ones experiencing this debilitating disease. Please keep a close eye on your loved ones at this facility.

My husband and I recently knew it was time to put his mom in Memory Care after going back and forth with the decision for a couple of years. After searching we looked up what we considered the to be the top 3, we visited them, went back several times before choosing the one we considered to be the best. We both agreed Superior Residences of Lecanto was the top choice. We were impressed with the way the staff were interacting with the residents and we noticed that the residents seemed to be very relaxed and fond of them and we felt that said alot. My mother in-law insisted she would not like it being away from us but she's been there 4 weeks now and every picture I see of her online and every time we see her she looks so at ease to be there and she is smiling in every picture. She has a wonderful comfy room there and when she wants to leave her room she has a safe environment with lots of space to roam to get some excersize in. They keep the place clean, it "smells" very clean and the staff are always on hand and very helpful. We are very happy with our decision to place her in her new home which is SuperiorResidencesofLecanto, we feel at ease after making a huge decision. I love to see her smile.

Super nice retirement home. Staff is friendly and willing to help out any way they can. The food is great. They have a variety of activities on their schedule. I hair dresser that I would pay a fortune to go to. Very clean. Glad I moved my grandma
