Taylorsville House - A Caring and Supportive Memory Care Facility I had the opportunity to visit Heather and her team and learn about Taylorsville House, and I can confidently say that they provide an exceptional environment for individuals with memory care needs. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and filled with compassion.

My 92 year old Mom has been here about 2 years. It’s bright and clean. The rooms are sized well for two people. Staff is always polite and friendly when visiting. When I take her out for joy rides they welcome her back in sweet ways. She is content walking the halls and seems to be on the right medication for keeping her mood regulated. Our family is grateful to all staff.

Was thinking about putting of my parents in this facility. Thinking of making it a two in one trip picking up my son and heading inside. This woman knocked on my car window and asked me if she could help me with anything. I said no she stated she was the director and if I’m just there to pick up my son “this is private property”. I was genuinely coming in after to speak with the facility and see what they had to offer and I had explained that I had spoken to a gentleman he offered me a deal a while back she laughed and said there’s no man even here that would answer phones. He had said he didn’t typically work there and worked either another branch or division. She seemed to laugh and not believe me and repeatedly stated she was the director. She had also called inside to an elderly gentleman I guess who was the “security”. I explained my parents situation and she told me to try north wilksboro. I felt partially mocked, and partially harassed when I just wanted some information and was made to sound like a liar when is spoke about the gentleman who had picked up a while back. I do appreciate her giving the name for wilksboro but harassing people who are interested in finding out about your facility and claiming that I never spoke to a gentleman which I definitely through Covid did made me feel like she was trying to make me feel like I was foolish and and idiot. Human decency when my parents are hospice patients and not walking around like your assisted living which I found out after would have been nice.
