TECH RIDGE OAKS ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY CARE

I have toured multiple facilities for my mother for much needed respite care. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tech Ridge Oaks! The facility is clean, bright and well taken care of. Staff are very dedicated to ensuring that all of my mothers needs are met and working with us to make everything go smoothly for my mother's stay. Thank you Sherrean for all of you help and assistance to make sure my mother has all she needs with her stay at Tech Ridge Oaks! Peace of mind makes all the difference!

My father has lived at Tech Ridge Oaks for two years. He has thrived since moving there. He had to spend time in Skilled Nursing last year, and it only made it more clear how well he did at Tech Ridge. Like all the facilities I have seen, they are understaffed. Sometimes it takes a while to get things done. You have to be persistent and stay on top of things. Sometimes the clothes get mixed up, and someone else is wearing his things. He has things go missing, but they usually show up. The Staff care. My dad, and the others, are cared for. I trust Tech Ridge Oaks with my father. I don't even trust him with his own family. Tech Ridge Oaks is his family now. He's home.

My experience with Tech Ridge Oaks has been absolutely amazing. From the moment we connected, it was clear how much the team truly cares about every single resident who moves in. Sherrean goes above and beyond every day to make sure everyone feels welcome, valued, and loved. And the team is a strong and dedicated team - they're always attentive, professional, and compassionate. The environment here is warm, supportive, and feels like family. I would highly recommend Tech Ridge Oaks to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be genuinely cared for!

If I could rate it a ZERO I would! Do NOT place anyone in this facility!! They do NOT communicate about medicine, accidents, or anything. My resident had surgery and they told no one about it. They also do not pay attention to their residents, they told us that my resident fell off their bed but no they actually slipped on water and went to the hospital. They also lie about doctors visiting and if you have a paid appointment for the salon to get hair dyed, nails done, toes done. They will take the money and not do anything they said they would do. Even after you call them to tell them "hey, I paid for my residents hair and nails to be done" they will say they'll look into it and do nothing about it. Every time I visit my resident, their nails (toes and fingers) are extremely long. We tell them to cut them several times they do NOT. We pay to have them remind my resident to to shower, to wear pads, to brush their hair, brush their teeth. Every time we visited they were filthy, and their room smelt like urine. This has happened for the past year now. They also do not tell you if your resident is out of shampoo or conditioner. My resident was pre diabetic and we had told them they can't have too many sweets. She gained over 50 pounds within the first few months she was there and is now obese and diabetic. This wouldn't have happened if they monitored and paid attention like we've been paying them to do. We complained and tried to get this resolved several times and were nice about it since we don't want them to take it out on our resident. We have wasted so much money that we basically do not have just for them to not do their job. This place is unhygienic and neglectful. Senior living advisers who get PAID to give out recommendations don't even recommend them anymore because they're so bad. If you care about your family member, their safety, and care do not place them in this assisted living facility.

The staff at Tech Ridge Oaks has been over the top fabulous in every way. My step mother needed to be in memory care suddenly when my Dad got too sick to care of her. She did not want to be there and to say she was extremely difficult would be an understatement. They responded so well to her behaviors and I was surprised they did not kick her out. They communicated with me often and made themselves available to talk with me as often as I needed. She finally adjusted and improved. Thanks to Lauren, Delores, Raquel, William and all of the staff there for being such loving and compassionate people. I will never forget your kindness and support.
