TERESA'S HOUSE ARGYLE

My husband spent the last 13 months of his life at Teresa's House. He was essentially non-verbal and his journey was not easy. No place is perfect-but this one comes as close as humanly possible. What makes it so special is the environment they create every single day: one of love respect, kindness and dignity. They truly meet residents where they are. They make the most of what each person is still capable of. They see the person trapped inside the disease and they never lose patience or compassion. One of the most remarkable things I witnessed was their consistent ability to hold the disease responsible, never the person. In a population where behaviors can be unpredictable and every resident is affected differently, that takes extraordinary hearts. Consistent staffing is the benchmark for excellent Alzheimer's care, and they understand this. Familiar faces build trust, reduce fear and create stability-and that consistency made all the difference for David. I was unable to express this when there, as it is so hard to watch your loved one decline and not feel there is more that could be done, but looking back they did it well. I would especially like to commend, Kylie, Marissa, Tomeka, Lakia, Rosie, Roxie, Blaise, Becca and Rachael. They have amazing hearts! They made David's journey as peaceful and caring as it could possibly be, given his Alzheimer's. In a setting that is emotionally and physically demanding, they show up with patience, gentleness and dignity. Their work truly matters. I will be forever grateful for the care they gave my husband and for the family and community they provided to both of us.

I can't say enough about Teresa's House Assisted Living/Memory Care! I wish I could give 100 stars! They offer top notch amazing compassionate care with such an attentive staff ensuring the residents are well taken care of, safe, and happy. You can see the warmth, love, and respect they have for one another as the staff truly focuses on all aspects of the resident's physical, mental, and spiritual health. I cannot express how much I enjoy seeing and engaging with the beautiful staff and residents there on a weekly basis as they treat me like one of their own. It truly warms my heart knowing we are working together as a team in providing the care, compassion, and love when caring for our senior population because they deserve it! Knowing they are creating such a beautiful environment and experience for the residents as if they were their own loved ones. This is almost unheard of in this industry and nothing compares to the home like setting, genuine love, and exceptional care they they provide. The level of care from the entire staff is impeccable and I know that if gives the residents and their families peace of mind knowing they are well taken care of. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat as they are the GOLD standard of assisted living care. I feel privileged and honored to get to experience the love and care they have for our senior population!

Teresa's House is the most amazing facility for our loved ones! It is state of the art, complete with amazing healthy food and activities. How many places have you visited with therapy horses on site? The staff is plentiful and of the highest caliber. Rooms are well sized and kept clean. The activities director leads amazing activities and field trips for all- even if you are limited in mobility! When I was searching for a facility for my loved one, I was disgusted by living conditions, minimal staff and the lack of a full time nurse on site overnight. Teresa's is totally different and checked every box for me. We just got over a major winter snow storm. The executive management team rented 4-wheel drive vehicles and spent the week ferrying the staff from their homes to Teresa's and back again! That is totally amazing. The residents went on with life as usual! I did not have any concerns about my family member. If you are looking for the best place for a loved one to receive the best care and the best time, take a quick trip to Teresa's House. You will not look any further because you will not find a facility that comes even close to this one. Even the residents' families become good friends!!

Theresa House has an outstanding leadership team, with Pete and Kylie leading with dedication and heart. They provide engaging activities that enrich residents’ lives, creating a truly caring and supportive environment. Highly recommend!

Update---Overnight caretaker Lorraine does an amazing job with my mom. She is firm but kind and loving. She has my mom laughing at 2am in the morning and I look forward to meeting her one day. Thank you for all you do Lorraine. 1/9/2026 Teresa’s House/Argyle has been the best decision I’ve made for my mom. Their attention to detail and dedication to making sure your family member thrives is so worth the cost!! If you are trying to decide if the cost is worth it, I’m here to say it is!!!
