TERRACE AT IVEY ACRES ASSISTED LIVING, THE

The care of our loved ones has been nothing short of disappointing! The staff is neglectful. Refusing to take a resident to the bathroom because she cannot stand on her own anymore. Refusing to pull pants down or pull pants up and insisting the resident has the strength to do it, but she does not. Residents Do not have call lights. Resident having to use cell phone to call for help and workers don’t show for hours. Resident asking for PRN nausea, medication and worker saying we will bring it with a nighttime medicine, And that medicine didn’t show up for 4 1/2 hours. These are just a few examples of what our loved one is dealing with. Very disappointing. This place should be shut down. Don’t even think there’s a Nurse working there at all. The helpers on the floor are incompetent. Leadership is nonexistent. don’t waste your time or your money or compromisingyour loved ones dignity by placing them in this place. We will be calling the state.

My grandmother is currently there and we’re doing everything we can to get her out of there. She has only lived there for 2 1/2 months and it has been the absolute worst experience and worst I have ever seen. I’ve been in healthcare for 24 years myself so I know what good care is and I know what horrible care and neglect is. She is using her lifelong savings to pay for The service and they act like it’s dreadful to have to do anything for her. They are refusing to take her to the bathroom because she is on hospice and now unable to get up by herself. So they literally left her there. This is just one instance. There has been many the work And forcing her to do what her body just doesn’t have the strength to do anymore. I have never seen anything like it! I’m only hearing about it from my family and my grandmother. I’m in Minnesota. If I was there, I would be taking care of her myself.. I’m so disappointed because when we moved her in, I got to be there and I thought this was gonna be a great place but I was so wrong!

My father was a resident at the Terrace. He recently passed away from injuries received in a car accident. While he was at The Terrace he told me that he loved the facility and the staff. While we were visiting, the staff took great care of us knowing what we were going through. This is an excellent place where your loved ones may live and be treated with love and dignity. I can't say enough good things about The Terrace. Suffice it to say that my dad was here and it's a place that my wife and I could reside at if the circumstances called for it.

Very nice assisted living facility. They treat the residents like their own family members.

Awesome Location the rooms are beautiful. I can see where folks from Pensacola Fl and Milton Florida would want to give this assisted living facility a look
