The Abbington at Murray

My husband and I had such a good feeling about this wonderful place when we were looking for the right assisted-living center for my father-in-law. The Abbington proved hands-down to be the right choice. The staff is so caring, understanding, and patient. This facility is a huge blessing to those who live there and their families. It is spacious, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Dad looked forward to going to the dining room for meals and was very complimentary of several dishes he loved most. The Abbington contains lovely activity areas and even an ice cream bar for residents and their visitors. They make everyone feel welcome and know how to care for every person with kindness. They have several levels of service and were compassionate, generous, and gracious, especially in Dad's last days. This is a place of love and happiness. I'd choose it for myself one day.

My mother was in need of memory care when we first came to the Abbington. The wait list was over 10 people long, but Josie and her team assessed our mom and found that she qualified to live in the assisted living area until a room opened in memory care. Mom’s time at the Abbington was full of kindness and respect. The staff was outstanding in serving her. The facilities are top-knotch. Even the in-house menu is full of choices so you never get tired of the selections or go hungry. Five stars to the Abbington…we would give 10 if we could!!!

The Abbington is by far the most lovely, cost effective assisted living center in the Salt Lake Valley. The employees and staff are 100% top notch and make the experience of living here exceptional. My mother was moved in after a horrible experience at another memory care Center in the valley, and our treatment and care was completely different. My mother was treated with love and respect. We wish we would have known about this lovely center when our mom was initially moved out of her home. Thank you Abbington for being a little piece of heaven on earth.

My sister loves Abbington! She is happy and more independent than we have seen her in years! She has a dozen new friends. I have never been to a place where everyone is this kind and happy, including Disney Land. We love to visit and enjoy the ice cream bar. We wish she had moved in sooner!

I'd like to express tremendous gratitude for The Abbington of Murray as my parents navigated the last year of their lives. The caregivers were exceptional, their talent and training matched by their love and kindness to ensure that Mom and Dad lived in comfort and dignity. The building is gorgeous, with generous and sunny spaces. The Director of Nursing excellent, brilliantly helping us coordinate with medical support and hospice. The managers and front desk staff are wonderfully kind. The people at The Abbington nurtured us through a very difficult time.
