I visited my Aunt who lives here and I have to say this place is Beautiful! Unlike any memory care I’ve ever seen! The staff was very polite and one thing that stood out was it smelled good everywhere. It was very clean. I would definitely recommend this memory care!

My MIL lived there for about a month, the communication was horrible and her treatment wasn't much better. My MIL got a UTI which made her very anxious, paranoid and angry. We could no longer care for her at home and decided to find a memory care facility for her safety. Auberge seemed amazing and looks nice, but they didn't know how to handle her and ended up sending her to the psych ward later that month (October). They didn't explain why and we have yet to receive a call to this day. My MIL spent 3 weeks adjusting to new medication and was back to her loving, sweet self! When it came to her release from the psych ward, Auberge had to re-access her before coming back. They were given about 4-5 days notice from the social worker. Auberge was VERY hesitant and scheduled it for day of her release. Most of this was communicated through text with Auberge (apparently they didn't have time for a phone call) and the social worker. At that point we had to find my MIL a new home just in case Auberge didn't approve her coming back in and frankly, we didn't want her going back to a place that doesn't communicate or show any care or excitement to have her back. The only positive feedback I can give is the nurse's in her "neighborhood" were nice and did communicate with us when we visited. Other staff didn't really say much to us, they did when we toured, but not after that. I think it's cruel how dismissive they were of my MIL because she was more difficult than others. They can't handle the tough side of Alzheimers. There are plenty of memory care facilities in this area, don't send your loved one to this one!

Today with a broken heart, I had to move my mom out of her home of the past 6 years. I’m feeling very betrayed by The Auberge at Vintage Lake. They have been my Alzheimers impaired mom’s home for six years. The staff members are beautiful people and have cared for and loved my mom like she was their own mom. I love them all for the love and care they have given to my mom for all these years. But the corporate management owners have made the decision, from afar with no compassion, to kick her out. It’s all about the money for them. My mom is 94 & 1/2 years old & we don’t know how much time she has left. After six years of this being her home & her extended family, she is being thrown out because she doesn’t have enough money to pay the additional $1000 a month increase in her care cost. You would think with her being on Hospice care that The Auberge could demand less money. I know that the staff members on site are as heartbroken as I am but it’s out of their control. Senior citizens live on a fixed income and don’t get $1000 a month increases in their income. My mom’s 401k funds ran out 1 1/2 years ago so now she is solely dependent on her social security & a small VA medical pension. When SS gives her that tiny little COLA increase of maybe $25 to $50 a month, the VA makes a decrease of that amount so she never gets a cost of living increase. I just want to advise this, be very careful when making your decisions about the care you choose for your loved ones. Change is very difficult for them. If they out live their financial assets it’s an ugly world out there. Maybe smaller independently owned homes with less corporate salaries to pay could be a wiser choice. Senior citizens & their families should not be put through this. So for my review of The Auberge at Vintage Lake I give the care givers and local staff (except for the current manager) a 5++++ star review! They are exceptional and I love them!. I give the current manager & the management company a 0- - - - review. Choose wisely ❤️

My father moved to the Auberge at Vintage Lake 2 1/2 months ago. I toured 8 facilities before choosing the Auberge. Our experience has been great. Every concern I’ve had has been addressed immediately. There is an unprecedented level of professionalism & genuine concern from the Director level all the way down to the maintenance team. The caregivers are a notch above what I’ve seen elsewhere. They take time to listen and understand my father’s needs. I visit my father 2-4 times a week and have found that the residents are well cared for. They feel comfortable, happy (mostly-dementia has ups and downs) and at home. I moved my father two other times before finding the Auberge at V.L. and he couldn’t be happier or more content. Liam is a good listener and will take great care of you should you choose to tour the facility. Having a loved one in a facility can be extremely challenging and stressful. Since my father moved in, my level of peace and confidence in where he is has continued to grow. Partnering with the Auberge has been the best decision we could have made.

An unfortunate fall mid-year 2022 resulted in my mother requiring surgery along with extensive therapy and around the clock care. Early 2023 I walked into her room at another facility with lax care for the last time. I toured 5 facilities and decided to move her post haste. Mom entered Auberge @ Vintage Lake February 2023 requiring Level 4 (high level care). Within 9 months the care and effort of the entire staff at Auberge resulted in an improvement to Level 1 (lowest required level care). The innovative SPARK Program at Auberge promotes interaction and involvement with the many on-site activities. No more sitting in a room waiting for time to pass. From the moment you enter the facility, you are greeted with smiles at the front desk, great office staff, excellent food service and the activity coordinating is unparalleled. The facility is well maintained and clean at all times. Mom’s room is always clean and organized. Mom is flourishing under the care of the Auberge staff and rehabilitation crew. It is the first time in years that I can sleep knowing Mom is well cared for. The entire team on property are true professionals and truly care about the residents. I couldn’t be happier with the decision to move Mom to Auberge @ Vintage Lake.
