The Barclay at Tuckahoe

Had the most wonderful night to remember - all organized and planned by Brittany the Director who is just wonderful. I am so happy my granny has so many fun activities that make her smile, dance and laugh and that she is taken care of. Looking forward to more special nights and memories. ❤️

We could not be happier with the memory care unit at Barclay. The staff is phenomenal — incredibly patient and always ensuring not only that the residents are well cared for but also meaningfully engaged. Kudos to everyone — from the leadership, to the aides, to those who maintain the beautiful facility.

The memory care facility at Barclay At Tuckahoe is absolutely wonderful. It is filled with loving caring staff who go the extra mile to assure the best quality of life for its residents . I am truly inspired every time I visit there. I’m very impressed at the level of care that is given to each resident. The memory care director Brittany is absolutely exceptional!

My mother-in-law was in memory care for a little over one year. As hard as it is to have a loved one in memory care, having people take care of her as if she were their own family made every day easier. The director Brittany was fabulous, I truly believe she loved my mother-in-law as much as we did. Sadly, she passed away, but they were there with us every step of the way, they were kind, loving, and a comfort to us. Everyone that took care of her on all three shifts were fabulous. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am so appreciative of their caring and attentive staff that are so nice to me every time I visit, but most importantly, wonderful to my father over the last year and some months he’s been there. When I go back next weekend, I’m going to jot down the names of those staff that definitely need a shout out and post another review through my husband’s account :-). As any new organization, there have been management changes, and the corporation is working hard to improve any loopholes. I even noticed my dad’s room has been cleaned better lately and they’re keeping the door shut because he’s in memory care and residents are able to walk down the hall and get exercise which is great but some of them wandered into his toilet, and my dad doesn’t even use his… But that has been remedied. Thank you housekeeping for doing a great job cleaning my dads room… Don’t forget the toilet :-). We pay for them to do my fathers laundry, and that’s been kept up a little more organized lately… Thank you! Keep up the good work, and I know you all will keep striving to improve… As I think, even the food could be a little better, but we’re very appreciative of everything and I know you’re working on that too! These workers deserve a special place in heaven ❤️💥
