I spoke with an event coordinator about volunteering and handing out Roses to the residents for Valentines Day. I arrived on February 4th and asked permission to bring the roses, if that was allowed and if there were any restrictions. The woman helping me took notes and said that I could bring them to their Valentines Day party on the 13th (which is today). I was very excited to see all the smiles on the residents faces and to teach my oldest child who is homeschooled the meaning of giving back. I showed up to Blair this afternoon with 40 individually wrapped roses with inspirational cards attached to each. (Not that this matters but I spent a lot of time and money to make these look nice for the residents.) When I arrived I was told that no such event was planned, that I was not allowed to bring in the flowers or speak to any residents. I was so heartbroken 💔 I had to find somewhere else to give the flowers away, I just wish I could have made a senior citizen smile today. This really just put a bad taste in my mouth about this whole place and I wish I could have written something joyful.

This is a beautiful place mom came here 6-12-2025 and I know that they genuinely care about the residents. The previous Executive Director named Jennifer made a lot of promises that she could not keep and i'm guessing that's why she's no longer there. The staff is your backbone to having a great work community and greatly ran facility. And if you do not treat your staff, right they will become overworked, unhappy and eventually will leave. There are a lot of changes taking place and a lot of things that could use some more attention(sanitation and cleaning of bathrooms daily) ensuring that residents laundry is not washed with other residents and also not washed with towels and washcloths used by everyone which will ruin it. Also making sure that the people responsible for the laundry fold it, hang it , and place it in the correct residents location. My mom is happy and thriving but there are some things they need to work on to make sure that the residents and their daily needs are indeed the priority. Tara is absolutely amazing. She is the glue that keeps this place together. I hope to see a new activities director that will be permanent, and that will do the job the way it needs to be done and not just look at it as an easy paycheck. The residents deserve activities daily including exercise even on the weekends not just a tv to babysit them. I hope that somebody can take on the role and commit to it and make the residents needs their only concern. The cook is amazing. My mom is gaining weight and I like that now after the doctor's appointments I get a telephone call with updates on mom care. Staff is always attentive but here lately it seems like they are little sad and very short staffed. I don't like hearing the whispers about what's happening behind the scenes during my visit. Please fix this problem so that you can fully staff this facility and boost morale, it deserves it, the residents deserve it and we love having it in the community. It is beautiful and it's a blessing.Let's work towards making sure it thrives to its full potential.

The manager here, I think her name is Jennifer, has no idea what she is doing. She is also so rude. My mother was here for a while and I have walked in on Jennifer cursing at other patients, making fun of them, and not willing to help them. The rest of the staff are friendly but most need more education

Very impressed with the staff there. I've personally watched them interact with my mom. Always easy to communicate with them and has always done in a timely matter anything we have asked for. Very clean place. My mom enjoys being there. I feel at peace that she's there.
