We have visited several properties and I find the Bridges at Parkview to be the best! Lovely clean building, friendly staff, and professional attitudes. Jeanette has been compassionate and incredibly helpful to us.

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough good things about this assisted living community. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and compassion that fills the entire place. The staff here are absolutely incredible — they don’t just do their jobs, they truly care. Every resident is treated with kindness, patience, and genuine love. It’s clear that the team sees each person as family, and that makes all the difference. Whether it’s a gentle smile, a comforting word, or the extra time they take to ensure someone feels heard and supported, the dedication is felt every single day. The peace of mind knowing that our loved one is in such capable and caring hands is priceless. This isn’t just a place to live — it’s a place to be loved, respected, and cherished. Thank you to the amazing staff for all you do. You are making a difference, one heart at a time.

If I could leave no stars, I would. My aging dad, after being there since April 17th, he was walking pretty good. He has Alzheimer’s/dementia and after being evaluated, they said they could care for him up until he required skilled nursing. We, as a family check on him fairly regularly, but not every day, but have had to meet him at Maria Parham after a couple of falls to be checked out. On one visit, I noticed him not eating, and nobody assisting him to eat. I asked that he have a mechanically softened diet and someone to assist feeding him and PT to assist him with getting his strength back as he was having difficulty standing now, much less walking. (I thought it very strange that I would have to request that to a facility that advertises themselves as a memory care facility) On the May 16th we get a call that he needs to go to the ER and we weren’t pleased with prior visits to Maria Parham, only to find him in his bed, not prepared to go to the hospital. After arriving at Wake Med, his kidneys were shut down, he was in a diabetic coma (his number was 725) his core body temp was 95 degrees, he was grossly dehydrated and was completely raw on his backside. They are now giving my dad three to ten days to live and we are moving him into a Hospice care. I went to speak to Ryan, the executive director and he said after his investigation, he couldn’t see where they did anything wrong or negligent. I went to my dads room to get his things, mind you, he’s been in the hospital for eleven days and there are some of his daily meds under the bed, A/C unit and one pill on his chest of drawers. The floor is nasty and after retrieving the pills went to wash my hands to find the cold water side of the faucet after turning it on, NO WATER!!! The door to the shared bathroom was stuck open off the track. Please, do yourself and your loved ones a favor, DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANYONE YOU LOVE!!! I have included a couple of pictures of the floor and one of the pills that was there. I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A PLACE THAT CARES FOR YOUR LOVES ONES!!!

We moved my mom into the assisted living here in December 2024. She's 89 and was living independently up until then. She's pretty healthy, but has some chronic hip pain, that eventually made it too difficult for her to handle all her day to day tasks, and she spiraled downhill and stopped taking care of herself. After a week in the hospital, and another week in a rehab, we decided to try Bridges on Parkview. Jeanette and Julie made it very easy to sign on and move in. Destiny and the rest of the staff have all been super nice and attentive. Over the course of a couple months, my mom really bounced back to her old self. Having help with bathing, using the restroom, and getting her compression stocking on, freed her up to regain her physical and mental energy. The facility is new. It's affordable, as far as these places go. The pricing is more simple, and less than anything similar in Raleigh. The food has gotten better. Everyone says, make sure to try the food before you choose a place. But, if we had picked a place with better food, it would have been out of our price range. I think it's more important that the staff is going to help your loved one to be as healthy as possible. I think they need to continue whatever they're doing to keep the caring staff, and they need to think a bit more about building maintenance. Anyone who's build a building knows it's a big transition from construction to maintenance phase, and you have to have budget for repairs, or else the place will start to look bad over time.
