The Brownstone

The Brownstone at Stone Haven was a wonderful experience for our family, and was truly a “haven” for our elderly mother’s final days. Kiara and her staff provided a calm, peaceful and genuinely caring environment for Mom, as well as support and understanding for our entire family. I only wish we had found it earlier! It feels like a home, not a facility. This is what elder care should be.

My 95 y/o Mom has been a resident at The Brownstone Family Care Home since May, 2025. I couldn’t be happier with the care she is receiving . Kiara Brown (owner), Inger ( manager) and all the staff provide a loving home for Mom , where she is cared for with compassion , dignity and respect . The Brownstone is the epitome of what Senior Health Living should be for our aging loved ones!

The decision to place my husband in the Brownstone has been a Godsend and one of my most important decisions ever. My husband is a high needs patient with Parkinson's and the associated dementia. When I could no longer care for him at home (even with capable assistance) , I was looking for a place that could provide the personalized care that I would feel comfortable with. The Brownstone was the answer! He is receiving great care and I have full confidence in the staff and management. I can finally breathe! Thanks to the wonderful staff and management for making both of our lives better despite trying circumstances.

Moving my mother into a retirement home was a big decision, but I couldn’t be happier with the care they’re receiving. The staff is incredibly kind and treats them like family. Every time I visit, I see them engaged in activities, enjoying meals, and truly feeling at home. The facility is clean, comfortable, and full of warmth. Knowing they are safe, happy, and well cared for gives me so much peace of mind. I’m beyond grateful for The Brownstones and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a loving and supportive place for their loved one.

The home itself is stunning, offering a cozy yet elegant environment that truly feels like home. But what stood out most was the way the caregivers interacted with the residents—with such kindness, patience, and genuine care. As a professional organizer who works with aging-in-place solutions, and as a daughter myself, I was deeply moved to see how well the residents were cared for. It’s clear that families can feel at ease knowing their loved ones are in such good hands. I only wish I lived closer because this is exactly the kind of place I would recommend to anyone seeking compassionate, high-quality care for their family members. Brownstone Family Care Home is truly a gem!
