The staff is so warm and caring with amazing bedside manner. The director of nursing is such a wonderful woman as well with a big heart and a true passion for nursing and genuine dedication in ensuring patients receive the best care. I would give them a 10 star rating if that was possible.

This facility is very clean and staff is very attentative to patients and residents here. The Administrator Kelly has been more professional and welcoming then any other locations I was considering for a family member.

I've waited nine months to write this, hoping that I can do so a bit more dispassionately. My mom was a long time resident at the independent living side of Brightmore and in her last few months needed more care. The Commons was very accommodating in that we were able to get her into a room very quickly, but the three days and two nights she was there were a nightmare. Getting help or pain medicine via her call button was very poor...I was there one evening and it took over 30 minutes for her calls to be answered on more than one occasion. The staff handled her, a frail 98 year-old woman, roughly, insisting that she spend the night in bed, even though she was much more comfortable in her chair. The staff would pick her up and drop her in bed where she was miserable all night. After the second such night there we moved her to Spring Arbor of Wilmington at half the cost and much, much, much improved care.

We had a positive experience with The Commons at Brightmore. The director and her staff were very kind to our loved one. They went above and beyond , especially when needed & even the kitchen staff was super helpful.

Very pleased either way the care my mother has been receiving at Tge Commons since June2024. She seems to have adjusted to this facility and staff. I am forever grateful for the care and support of the well trained staff.
