My mother was placed by myself as I fell in love with The Cottage of Davison. The warm colors, murals on the walls, the themes of each room. The staff was very patient with her as she had dementia and struggled to walk at most times. She was getting weaker as time went on, her body was just giving up. I was greated warmly as I was there almost every day at least once. She was there just under a month. And now she is laid at peace with my dad.

My loved one has only been here a short while (a few months) but it has been such a nice experience. Cottage of Davison is a wonderful facility, everyone there is amazing and they are much cheaper then some of the larger communities we have had experiences with. The staff to residents ratio is well balanced (which is sneaky important!!), there are always nurses in the hallways interacting with the residents, no one is off by themselves.

We had our mom in a Adult Foster Care center miles from where we lived so when that facility raised the price we looked into places closer to our house.. The Cottage fit our every need. Unfortunately Mom only was there on Hospice for a short time when she passed away. The staff and Manager were so so supportive, wonderful and caring. My husband and I could not of asked for a better care staff.. Thank you, Ronald and Rebecca Shelton (Son and Daughter in Law) to Betty Marks

My family and I were so blessed to have landed at the Cottages of Davison, for a place for my Mother. It can be scary placing a loved one but I don’t have the words to convey how caring, compassionate, and kind the entire staff are at this home. Melissa, the manager, was a beacon of hope to my family and she helped us in ways I can never express enough gratitude for. My mom was combative when she initially came to this home and they had all the patience and skills needed to manage her outbursts in a safe and caring way. After a month or 2, she settled and I could tell she cared for the nurses as they cared for her. I’ve witnessed them hug her, snuggle her, walk endless miles a day with her, and so much more. My Mom spent 7 months at the Cottages before she sadly passed away. She was on hospice, as well, and the week before my Mom’s passing the staff was really doing all they could to see if they couldn’t encourage my mom to rally and make it a bit longer. Not to mention they were so supportive of our emotional needs , not only during the 7 months she was there, but even more so when she was actively passing. If you are looking for a top tier memory care facility, look no further. This is your place. Please, trust me when I say that your loved one will be safe and well taken care of here. I’ve only now been able to bring myself to write this review as my Mom only passed 10 weeks ago and it was painful to think about but I hope the facility sees this review because I want them to know how forever grateful I am for them.

Can’t say enough great things about the caring staff at the Cottages of Davison. Placing a loved one in a memory care facility had all of us so nervous! They were and still are so sweet with filling us in on our Mother’s progress each day. The one on one attention is amazing. My mother has adjusted so well to living on her own. Be sure to reach out to this amazing place if you are looking.
