The Cottages of Swansboro - Cottage V

My brother was a resident at The Cottages of Swansboro. The office staff and care team members were exceptional. They kept me informed and were diligent regarding his medical care and needs.

My dad moved into the Cottages June of 2024 at age 91 up until he recently passed. The Cottages were exactly what he needed. The small units provided more of a home feeling for his final years of life. The staff was great to him and treated him very well. My dad wanted to live by himself and not burden any of his children with his needs. I live nearby and usually made a few visits per week, the staff was always friendly and his unit was very clean. Laura was his primary unit (cottage) caretaker and did a great job. I recommend the Cottages if you are looking for a safe, clean and family style type assisted living for an elderly family member. Anna and Andrew run a nice place.

I walked in for information on a place for my mom and I was immediately greeted with kindness from the office staff. The energy of the room was very upbeat & positive and Rebecca the Resident care coordinator immediately acknowledged me and listened to my needs. I also met the owners Anna & Andrew who were very pleasant and they were able to answer all of my questions followed by a tour since I had the time. This place is very nice and cozy on the inside and from the outside it is very inviting. The residents and staff were very friendly and gave me a sense of comfort that if this would be my choice for mom that she would be very much welcomed in with open arms. So far so good!

I have had personal experience with Andrew & Anna at The Cottages of Swansboro. They went above and beyond to help my sister’s husband. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. It was well worth every penny. If you have ever experienced “nursing facilities” you would appreciate the care and atmosphere at The Cottages.

This assisted living center has to be one of the best places for families to send their loved ones. It's often our older relatives don't want to leave their home or lose their sense of independence and that's where the cottages come into play. It's a family / home vibe where each person has their own room, their own bathroom, and freedom to go on walks outside, hang out in common areas, or join in on the activities both in house and outings. I would recommend them to any and every one. You can tell it's a family owned establishment where they truly care about each and every person there.
