THE COVE AT TAVARES VILLAGE

I have visited this facility countless amounts of times to visit a family member. It's always been the same, everything is pleasant from the moment you open the door. The decor, the smell, and the warm inviting presence of the staff members. The residents that live in this facility speak very well of not only the facility but of the staff. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs to find a loving home for their family members.

If you are searching for assisted living for your loved one, I HIGHLY recommend The Cove. As a home care therapist, I frequent multiple facilities in lake county and this one is top notch with affordability!! The staff here is compassionate and caring and the facility is always clean and bright. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by a big smile from Barbara, who is a ray of sunshine, and extremely helpful with any information you might need about the facility or residents. The director of nursing, Stephanie is sweet, professional and knows exactly what's going on with her patients. The facility is well managed by Shawn, who is a wonderful advocate for the residents and Debbie who is very helpful in navigating the process. This facility offers a lot of bus trip outings and activities to enjoy, provided by Amy and Martha whom the residents just adore! There's always some type of snacks and beverages available to the residents at all times. The memory care area is very clean and well staffed with compassionate and caring individuals as well.

The Cove: A hidden gem in Tavares. For two years now, I've mentally thanked my mother's care manager who recommended me The Cove for my mother. The Cove is a unique place where, from the moment you walk through the door, you feel peace and harmony. Why do I love this place so much for my mother? The way the staff treats each and every resident is extraordinary. The kitchen staff is always willing to go the extra mile to please them. The cleanliness of the place and how beautifully is always decorated are also remarkable. At The Cove, there's a smile from the attentive, wonderful and talented employee at the reception desk all the way to the gentleman who handles maintenance...and I can leave out their "personal driver".Here, everyone is ALWAYS willing to please and help each and every one of us: The residents and their family. For my family, The Cove is a blessing, that my 97-year-old mother enjoys it more than any other place. For Mom, The Cove is home. And for us, a blessing!

Living here is a pleasure. I have been here a little over a year. I find it to be well managed. I stopped driving recently and the bus service provided to appointments is so appreciated. People are friendly, staff are very helpful and caring. Since it is a small community, you receive individual attention which is a plus. I also like the low key atmosphere. Many choices of accomdations and prices are available. I'm so glad my daughter found this place near to her for me to spend my last chapter.

A small forewarning, I may be a little sappy here. The Cove is like a big family. Many employees have been there for 10 plus years. The bonds that are built with residents and their families is something so genuine. I think that is what makes The Cove really special. There are other things that make them standout in value like; pricing, location, meals, activities, and lots of other things. In terms of pricing, The Cove is supremely competitive with not many facilities in Central Florida coming close and the property is absolutely beautiful. It is quite secluded and the houses behind are also part of The Cove's community. The whole property is 55 and older and is very nice to just get out and walk around. All in all, The Cove is a very special place. Starting from the wonderful staff and the care that they provide, the meals their dietary team carefully crafts for the residents, and ending with the bonds they create that makes everyone family.
