My grandmother was there December 10, 2019. She was on a memory unit was not taken care of my mom to come in and give her a bath. She had urine and poop walking around the hallways. Family had to supply soap and stuff that kept disappearing because she had a memory issue End up having a bad infection went to Rex Hospital dropped off was not called right away. No one was in the emergency room with her and then emergency room staff had to clean her up and she had to go to higher level of care. Due to the infection going to a higher level of care she end up demising it is so sad how they have to suffer.

This place is horrible! Went to visit my uncle in memory care, seen a poor little lady with a purple eye and bruised arm. The workers on memory care walk around as if somebody owe them something. The ED is ghetto and not friendly at all, the rcc pretends as if she cares for the residents but she’s just as messy as the ED because I heard her talking about some employees! I’m diligently working with my aunt to have my uncle moved because this place needs to be shut down. It’s obvious they don’t care about the residents just the money. I heard a resident shouting because she didn’t get her money she was entitled to and that the lady that passes out the money wasn’t there. If you were thinking about bringing your loved one here….DONT!!!! I wouldn’t want my worst enemy here.

Honestly, this is not a luxury hotel. It's a nursing home. But they were seriously very good to my mother. Things were not always perfect, but she loved the staff there like family, and some of them loved her. This is much nicer than the places in Pittsburgh, where I live. I am happy my mother was there.

The Covington is a wonderful community with the most caring and kind staff I’ve ever met. All of the staff make a point to learn and know resident’s individual needs making the resident’s stay more comfortable. One can feel secure in the level of car their family member will receive during their time at The Covington. Everyone goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the residents enjoy their home.

My mother has been at the Covington since last September. It has been a wonderful experience. She is on the Memory Unit and is doing great. The Doctors On Call group have been so attentive to her needs and call me any time they visit her with an update. They have a rehab unit and are working with mom regarding her posture and balance issues. We are so blessed to have found the Covington. The staff have been wonderful to her and our family. Prior to finding The Covington, mom was at two other facilities in another county. Both "kicked" her out due to her roaming into other resident's rooms and getting into their belongings. Those facilities just weren't equiped and/or trained to deal with residents like my mother.
