THE DELANEY AT LAKE WACO

My great grandmother lives at The Delaney and absolutely loves it. It is such a nice residence for anyone looking. This past weekend we had a joint birthday celebration in their main bistro area. It turned out fabulous! And without question would have not been pulled together the way it did without Lori! She is the Delaney’s Director of Life Enrichment and she pulled out all the stops! Helped me with not only serving supplies for the party, gifted us a “90” birthday balloon, was my florist putting all the bouquets together, cut and served the cake, and much more! Lori was there before the party to help set up, during to make sure everything was running smoothly, and helped with the clean up. Seriously above and beyond! I can’t say enough good things about her and all the staff that helped pull this party together. Forever grateful! 🌻🩵💛💙

This place is “home” thanks to the wonderful staff! They treat each resident like they are family. I’m so glad they had space for my sweet mom. She loves the many activities, caring staff, and being around other people who share common interests. I highly recommend The Delaney when looking for a place for your loved one to live!

The Delaney at Lake Waco has been a true blessing for our family. The staff is warm, attentive, and always available when needed. My mom feels safe, supported, and truly at home. Lori and life enhancement team do an amazing job organizing fun social events and decorating for every holiday and celebration, making the atmosphere cheerful and welcoming. Mom especially enjoys the walking trail, the beautiful lake view, and chatting with friends during social hour before dinner. With ongoing renovations making things even nicer, we have complete peace of mind knowing she's happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!

My in-laws live at the Delaney at Lake Waco, one in the memory care unit and one in the independent living area. We recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in the Great Hall. Lori made it extra special by providing tables, chairs and drinks and anything else we needed. It was fabulous and just turned out wonderfully! I would give the Delaney more stars if I could!

I can’t say enough great things about The Delaney. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s something special. The recent remodel has completely transformed the space, it’s bright, modern, and incredibly welcoming. The food here is outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious and nutritious options that feel more like dining at a great restaurant than a typical senior facility. But what really sets this place apart is the staff. Every single team member is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about the residents. You can feel the kindness and respect in every interaction. It gives me so much peace of mind to know that my loved one is not just being cared for, they’re thriving. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place where seniors are treated with the dignity, compassion, and joy they deserve.
