The Dunlop House

Being denied admission into Memory Care because they could become combative until getting use to the new environment is just crazy to me. New environments in Dementia patients can cause combativeness. You would think a memory care facility would be equipped to handle those situations. Obviously this place can not!

Very impressed with Chris and the entire team at Dunlop house!! Residents are happy and very well cared for! Keep up the good work!!!

This is one of the highest quality facilities in the area for the price. The price is high, but not as high as others. The nursing staff are overall relatively good, and a couple of them are truly exceptional. Ruth, in the dining hall, is super sweet. The in-house doctor did not work out for us so we transferred to an outside physician. Each resident does need an advocate (family member) who watches over their loved one’s care to make sure everything is being done well. If you ever have an issue that’s not being satisfactorily addressed, Denny, in higher management, is very approachable and will step in to help.

My mom has been at Dunlop House for about 2 months and the facility went above and beyond to get her transferred in due to emergent circumstances. The admission process was a stressful but amazing experience thanks to Dunlop staff. My mom seems like a healthier and happier person thriving now that she is at Dunlop. While no facility is perfect, we feel that all staff at Dunlop from housekeeping, direct care, maintenance etc works together for the good of the residents and family. I appreciate all they do every day to care for the residents and for making my mom feel at home despite the challenges that go along with supporting memory care residents. Thank you Dunlop staff for rising to the challenge!

Dunlop house is the best choice I have made for my parents. The staff has made us feel welcome from the 1st day. I believe the staff treats all residents and each other with love and respect. Dunlop house feels like home.
